I would\u200d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/anxious-san-francisco-residents-taking-safety-into-their-own-hands-with-self-defense-courses-high-tech-security\/\" title=\"Anxious San Francisco Residents Taking Safety into Their Own Hands with Self-Defense Courses, High-Tech Security\">feel safe walking<\/a> through any street through any\u200c store even alone late at night,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h3>Expanding Camera Coverage<\/h3>\n<p>The city \u200ccurrently \u2063has cameras installed at the Irvine Transportation Center, Great Park, and \u200dthe Civic Center. \u2063These\u200c cameras \u200dare managed \u2062by the city&#8217;s police \u200bdepartment through its\u200b information technology division, which prioritizes cybersecurity and technological advancements.<\/p>\n<p>The Community Services Department is already exploring the implementation of cameras at Lakeview Senior Center and Heritage Community Park, according to city staff.<\/p>\n<p>To optimize cost and efficiency, staff recommended the purchase of video analytics software for monitoring camera footage.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cIt is impractical, \u2064ineffective, and costly to monitor all cameras. Video \u200banalytic \u200btechnology provides the ability to quickly\u200b search a large volume of footage for a \u200dknown event or\u200c object,\u201d city staff explained during the meeting.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h3>Ensuring Privacy and Community Support<\/h3>\n<p>City officials emphasized that \u200bthe installation of new\u200d cameras \u200cin public spaces requires approval from the city&#8217;s chief of \u200bpolice.
