It is a law that has \u2063rarely\u2062 been used \u2063to prosecute pro-lifers \u2014 that \u200bis, until Biden \u2064came to office. \u200cJust in 2022 alone, Biden\u2019s biased\u200d DOJ used\u2064 FACE to indict 22 pro-lifers for their peaceful protests, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lifenews.com\/2023\/08\/09\/biden-admin-fights-in-court-to-put-pro-life-americans-in-prison-for-years-for-protesting-abortion\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Life News<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In this week\u2019s \u200dcase, for \u200dinstance, the DOJ indicted \u2062Herb Geraghty and Lauren Handy for standing outside\u200d an abortion mill in Washington D.C. And 11 others\u200b were indicted for protesting an abortion clinic in Mount Juliet, Tennessee, in \u20642021. And the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/security-footage-shows-fbi-agents-showing-house-pro-life-activists-mother-unannounced\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">FBI was sent<\/a> out as stormtroopers \u2062to round these people up\u2062 as if they\u200b were terrorists.<\/p>\n<p>A federal indictment \u200c <a href=\"https:\/\/www.justice.gov\/opa\/pr\/eleven-defendants-indicted-obstructing-reproductive-health-services-facility-tennessee\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">claimed<\/a> that the 11 pro-life activists \u201cengaged in\u2063 a conspiracy to prevent\u2063 the clinic \u200bfrom providing\u201d\u2062 and patients from receiving abortion\u200c services and violated the FACE Act by \u201cusing physical obstruction to intimidate and interfere with the clinic\u2019s employees and a patient.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>These pro-lifers are charged\u200d with \u200bone count each of violating the FACE Act\u200b and\u200c engaging in a\u200b conspiracy to \u201cdeny a right.\u201d The latter is an \u2063interesting charge, because \u2064the U.S. Supreme Court has ruled that there is no federal \u201cright\u201d to an abortion.<\/p>\n<p>For their part, the defendants also claimed that \u2064there\u2064 were violations of\u200b federal \u200claw going on. \u2062They \u2062said they\u200c were\u200b protesting \u2062outside \u2062the clinic \u200dbecause <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=NxOWyumLufA&#038;feature=youtu.be&#038;mc_cid=bf39285c1c&#038;mc_eid=ff63c9077f\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">undercover video<\/a> showed that the abortion providers were performing \u200dprocedures that\u200d violate the Born Alive\u200d Infant Protection Act\u200d and\u200d the Partial-Birth Abortion Ban Act.<\/p>\n<p>But in truth, there is no evidence \u200cthat the \u2064pro-lifers\u200c barred anyone from entering an abortion facility, nor that they perpetrated any violence.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c[T]he event was mostly \u200bpro-life people staging a peaceful sit in along with singing and praying,\u201d Life \u200dNews reported. \u201c[I]t\u2062 was so lawful and peaceful that local\u200c police let\u2064 them go after\u200c minor misdemeanor \u2064charges.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>On the other\u2064 hand,\u200b there is\u2062 ample <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/fbi-completely-turning-blind-eye-shocking-firebomb-attacks-pro-life-pregnancy-centers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">evidence<\/a> that\u2064 pro-abortionists have committed violence, including firebombing pro-life centers.<\/p>\n<p>Terrisa Bukovinac, founder \u200dof Progressive Anti-Abortion \u2064Uprising, a liberal \u200bpro-life group, \u200bnoted that Biden\u2019s\u2062 regime has not provided equal protection \u2063under \u2063the laws he is using\u2064 to attack \u2063pro-lifers,\u200c Life News reported.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn addition to prohibiting blocking access to abortion centers, the FACE \u2063Act includes similar protections for churches\u200d and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/post-roe-pro-life-activists-vow-to-protect-mothers-and-babies-while-planned-parenthood-touts-more-at-home-abortions\/\" title=\"Post-Roe: Pro-Life Activists Vow to Protect Mothers and Babies While Planned Parenthood Touts More At-Home Abortions\">pro-life pregnancy centers<\/a>,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSince the \u2064enactment of the FACE Act in 1994, \u2062126 pro-life \u2064activists have been charged under the law as\u200b opposed to fewer than 3 pro-abortion \u2063advocates,\u201d Bukovinac said. \u201cThis \u2064is despite the more than 70 instances of violence committed against churches\u2062 and pregnancy centers \u2014\u200b including firebombings since the overturning of Roe vs. Wade.<\/p>\n<p>Bukovinac said abortion opponents and pro-life lawmakers, including Texas GOP\u2063 Rep. Chip\u2062 Roy, have called for the repeal of FACE, because of the\u200c DOJ\u2019s employment of the law to persecute peaceful, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/fbi-raids-home-of-catholic-pro-life-speaker-with-guns-drawn\/\" title=\"FBI Raids Home of Catholic Pro-Life Speaker With Guns Drawn\">nonviolent pro-life activists<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>There was no \u2062damage to any \u2064abortion facility during any of the protests that sparked the indictments.\u200b But the DOJ \u200bis seeking to imprison the pro-lifers for 11 years, nonetheless.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf \u200dconvicted of the offenses, the \u200dseven conspiracy\u2063 defendants each \u2062face up to a maximum of 11 years in prison, three years of supervised release and fines of up to \u200b$350,000. The remaining five defendants face a year in prison, one year \u2062of supervised release and a fine of up\u200b to $10,000,\u201d \u2063 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.frontpagemag.com\/bidens-doj-threatening-pro-life-protesters-w-11-years-in-jail-for-civil-disobedience\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Front Page Magazine<\/a> reported.<\/p>\n<p>This is all part\u2064 of Biden\u2019s \u200dwar against \u2063Christians who support life, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/kamala-harris-goes-off-deep-end-declares-war-supreme-court-gop-dare\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">a war<\/a> \u200c even Vice President Kamala\u2062 Harris has openly advocated\u2063 when, in \u2063September of 2022, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.whitehouse.gov\/briefing-room\/speeches-remarks\/2022\/09\/22\/remarks-by-vice-president-harris-at-the-democratic-attorneys-general-association-conference\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">she \u200bpraised<\/a> the attacks on pro-life facilities\u2064 and said that she \u200dand her activists are \u201ctaking on, rightly, the crisis pregnancy centers\u201d where \u2064Christian\u2064 workers\u2062 try to encourage women to choose life for their unborn babies.<\/p>\n<p>But attacks on crisis pregnancy centers are\u200c essentially sanctioned by Biden\u2019s corrupt DOJ because,\u200c despite \u2062vandalism, \u200d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/abortion-activists-take-credit-firebombing-pro-life-pregnancy-center-firefighters-injured-battling-blaze\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">bomb<\/a> threats\u200d and other violence\u200d perpetrated against them, the Biden DOJ has spent very little energy indicting \u200danyone for \u2064this actual\u2062 violence.<\/p>\n<p>The attacks on pro-lifers drove one pro-life advocate to throw his hat\u200c in the ring to <a href=\"https:\/\/ijr.com\/pro-life-father-running-congress-biden-doj-tried-lock-11-years\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">run for Congress<\/a>,\u200d even as Biden\u2019s DOJ threatens to jail\u200d him for 11 years\u200b for daring to protest \u2064against abortion.<\/p>\n<p>Mark \u2064Houck, who was arrested by the \u2064FBI and indicted under\u200c the FACE act \u2014 \u200dbut was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/pro-life-activist-whose-home-raided-fbi-gives-thanks-god-vindicated-court\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">cleared of charges<\/a> by a federal jury \u2014 is running for Pennsylvania\u2019s 1st Congressional District.<\/p>\n<p>Houck\u2019s case was \u2064egregious, certainly. \u2062His home was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/weaponized-doj-sends-dozens-armed-feds-raid-terrified-pro-life-family\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">raided<\/a> by dozens of heavily \u200carmed FBI\u200c agents at 7 a.m. as \u2062most of his children were still in bed asleep. He\u2064 was carted off half-clothed. And all this took place even after the original case that claimed he injured a pro-abortionist was\u2064 thrown out of\u200b a \u200bstate court when officials could not find \u2062any record or evidence that the pro-abortionist was actually injured.<\/p>\n<p>The Houcks thought the \u200bcase was closed until \u200cBiden\u2019s\u200d out-of-control\u2064 FBI\u2063 showed up at his door, toting automatic weapons and wearing body armor.<\/p>\n<p>This\u2064 is all of a piece with Biden\u2019s \u200bcorrupt <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/trump-makes-dirty-discovery-fbi-returning-home-says-mar-lago-will-never\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">FBI<\/a> and \u200b <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/federal-appeals-court-gives-biden-doj-exactly-wanted-trump-classified-documents-battle\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">DOJ<\/a>,\u200d though.
