No deaths have been reported.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Whole genome sequencing \u2064analysis is still pending to \u200bdetermine this is the same strain \u200dof Listeria causing the illness in this outbreak,&#8221; the FDA \u200csaid.<\/p>\n<p>Soft Serve On The Go ice cream cups are sold in grocery stores, convenience stores, and canteens across the nation. Real Kosher Ice\u200b Cream also distributes the product to schools, camps, nursing homes, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/neb-gov-ricketts-says-only-documented-workers-will-receive-vaccine\/\" title=\"Neb. Ricketts says only documented workers will receive vaccine\">long-term care facilities<\/a> across the \u200bnation.<\/p>\n<p>The company has recalled all flavors of its soft serve and sorbet \u2063products produced \u200dup\u200b to Aug.\u2062 4, according \u200dto the\u2063 FDA.<\/p>\n<p>The \u2062flavors affected by\u200c the recall include vanilla\u2062 chocolate, parve vanilla chocolate, razzle, peanut butter lite, caramel, and sorbet strawberry mango.<\/p>\n<p>It comes packaged \u200bin \u2063an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/fda-recalls-soft-serve-on-the-go-ice-cream-cups-linked-to-listeria-outbreak\/\" title=\"FDA recalls 'Soft Serve on the Go' ice cream cups due to Listeria outbreak.\">8-ounce\u200d clear plastic cup<\/a> with \u2063a clear plastic cover and a spoon attached.<\/p>\n<p>The ice cream cups were distributed to 19 states and \u200bWashington, D.C. The states \u2063included in the recalled product are California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Illinois, Massachusets, Maryland, \u200dMinnesota, \u200bNorth Carolina, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and\u2062 West Virginia.<\/p>\n<p>The FDA recommends consumers \u2063check their \u2064freezers for Soft Serve On\u200b The Go products. If you have the product, throw it away or return it to\u2063 the store\u2064 where it was purchased for a refund.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Do not eat the recalled product because \u2062Listeria can survive in freezing temperatures, the CDC\u2062 warned.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Real Kosher Ice Cream has stopped producing and distributing the product while the investigation continues.<\/p>\n<h3>What Is\u200b Listeria?<\/h3>\n<p>Listeria monocytogenes is a bacteria that is often transmitted to humans through food sources. \u2064When someone eats food that is contaminated with the pathogen, \u200cthey\u2062 can develop a disease called listeriosis, according to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fda.gov\/food\/foodborne-pathogens\/listeria-listeriosis\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">FDA<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Symptoms of mild infection may include fever, muscle aches, nausea, vomiting,\u2063 and diarrhea, and may last for days or weeks.
