She issued a stern warning, stating \u200bthat she\u200c will take action to prevent any attempts to intimidate \u200cwitnesses or taint\u200c the jury pool.<\/p>\n<h3>Politics Have No Place in the Courtroom<\/h3>\n<p>Throughout the hearing, Judge Chutkan emphasized that politics will not interfere with the case. She firmly stated that Trump&#8217;s presidential \u200bcampaign is no different than any other job and that he is \u2062to be regarded as a criminal defendant.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;He is a criminal defendant,&#8221; Judge \u200cChutkan said. &#8220;He is \u200bgoing to have restrictions like every other criminal defendant. Trump&#8217;s recent post on Truth Social, stating &#8220;IF YOU GO AFTER ME, I&#8217;M COMING AFTER YOU,&#8221; raised concerns.
