The complaint was launched by America \u200bFirst\u200b Legal, a conservative nonprofit group led \u200bby\u2063 former \u2063President Donald Trump adviser \u200cStephen Miller. According to the group, Kellogg&#8217;s pursuit of racial and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/lego-declares-an-end-to-gender-bias-and-harmful-stereotypes-strips-boys-girls-labels-from-its-products\/\" title=\"Lego Declares An End To \u2018Gender Bias And Harmful Stereotypes,\u2019 Strips \u2018Boys,\u2019 \u2018Girls\u2019 Labels From Its Products\">gender balance<\/a> in its staff may potentially violate the \u200dCivil Rights Act of 1964,\u200d which prohibits workplace bias.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<h3>Concerns Raised by America First Legal<\/h3>\n<p>&#8220;For example, Kellogg&#8217;s &#8216;Better Days&#8217; Promise&#8217;\u2063 specifies that by the end of 2025, it aims to achieve 25% racially underrepresented talent at the management \u200blevel\u2064 in the \u200dUnited States,&#8221; states the America First website. &#8220;Between 2020 and 2022, the\u200c percentage of racially underrepresented talent increased\u200d by almost exactly 2% \u2063across all \u2063position levels. Given Kellogg&#8217;s \u2064commitment to &#8216;diversifying&#8217; leadership, advancing people based \u200con <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/fncs-carlson-its-time-for-the-democrats-to-accept-their-victory-forgive-the-team-they-beat-and-to-move-on-you-won-be-happy\/\" title=\"FNC's Carlson: It's Time for the Democrats to 'Accept Their Victory,' 'Forgive the Team They Beat and to Move On' -- 'You Won, Be Happy'\">skin color<\/a> \u2064at the expense of others because of \u2064their skin color merits investigation.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Similarly, Kellogg&#8217;s \u200dhas committed\u200b to an &#8220;aspirational gender parity \u200dgoal\u200c of\u200c 50\/50 at the management level&#8221; \u2062by 2025. As of 2021, female managers already make up over \u206444% of the management staff. These goals reflect the company&#8217;s efforts &#8220;to better reflect the diversity of our consumers and to strengthen our inclusive culture,&#8221; as stated\u200c in a letter from America \u200cFirst to the EEOC.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Kellogg&#8217;s management has \u200dalso shown disdain and disregard for company shareholders. It acknowledges\u2063 the importance of promoting and\u200c protecting\u2064 its brand reputation,&#8221; explains the nonprofit on its website. &#8220;Yet, it fails to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/democrat-ags-want-to-push-companies-into-revealing-climate-change-prevention-plans\/\" title=\"Democrat AGs Want To Push Companies Into Revealing \u2018Climate Change\u2019 Prevention Plans\">adequately inform investors<\/a> about the risks associated with the apparent misalignment of management&#8217;s political and social values with Kellogg&#8217;s customers&#8217; values or describe the steps\u200b taken\u200b to address them.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Despite the immense trust that \u200dhard-working American mothers and fathers have placed \u200cin Kellogg&#8217;s, management has abandoned the company&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/kelloggs-marketing-has-moved-to-sexualize-its-cereal-conservative-legal-nonprofit-group-claims\/\" title=\"Conservative legal nonprofit group alleges Kellogg's sexualizes its cereal in marketing.\">long-held family-friendly\u2064 marketing approach<\/a> to politicize\u2064 and sexualize its products,&#8221; adds America First.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>As evidence, America First points to various pride campaigns undertaken by\u2063 Kellogg&#8217;s across its product range. One example cited is Tony the Tiger posing with Dylan Mulvaney at the Tony Awards in June.<\/p>\n<p>The EEOC has been urged by America First to investigate Kellogg&#8217;s in response to the complaint. Following the\u200b investigation, \u2064the EEOC&#8217;s five individual commissioners \u200dhave the authority to \u200cfile their own charges.
