Officers began CPR before Martin was transported to a\u200b local hospital. However, he later died from her injuries. <\/p>\n<p>Kenneth Elbert Harrison, 45, was the driver identified in the incident. He was also previously convicted of \u2064beating a man to death in 2011. <\/p>\n<p>Harrison reportedly parked his 2005 Chevrolet Tahoe in the lot of The Tavern bar after he struck\u2062 the woman. An \u2062unknown \u2063number of bystanders then jumped into action and began assaulting Harrison, beating him so \u2062severely that he had \u2063to be air-lifted to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/calif-driver-arrested-after-allegedly-crashing-into-pedestrians\/\" title=\"Calif. driver arrested after allegedly crashing into pedestrians\">local trauma center<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>Harrison was then put on \u2062life support before eventually passing away \u2062in the hospital. <\/p>\n<p>Martin had reportedly parked\u2064 her vehicle across the highway\u2064 from The Tavern and was crossing to get to it when she was hit, according to Atmore Police Sgt.
