However, despite these \u200bpositive indicators, Americans are\u2063 not experiencing any real relief.<\/p>\n<p>In a\u200c statement, the White House \u200bstated, &#8220;Annual inflation\u2064 has significantly decreased since last\u2064 summer, \u200dand inflation outside of food and energy is at its lowest level in any three-month period since September 2021.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>President Joe Biden and his team have been touting the\u2064 success of\u2064 their\u2062 economic policies, known \u2063as &#8220;Bidenomics,&#8221; at every opportunity. \u2063However, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/poll-majority-of-americans-believe-biden-is-not-mentally-sharp-energetic\/\" title=\"Poll: Majority Of Americans Believe Biden Is Not \u2018Mentally Sharp,\u2019 \u2018Energetic\u2019\">polling data suggests<\/a> \u2064that the American \u200cpeople do\u200d not believe Biden \u2063has been beneficial for the economy.<\/p>\n<p>A\u2062 recent CNN\u2064 poll shows that only 41% of Americans\u2064 approve of\u2063 Biden&#8217;s overall performance,\u200b with just 37% approving\u200d of\u200c his handling of \u200bthe economy \u2064specifically.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">According to a new CNN poll, only 37% of Americans approve of Biden\u2019s record on\u200d the economy!<a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/4qFaI9dsEQ\">pic.twitter.com\/4qFaI9dsEQ<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 GOP (@GOP) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/GOP\/status\/1688260400972783617?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">August 6, 2023<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The reason, as explained in a new report published by POLITICO, is\u2064 the disparity between core inflation \u2062and\u2063 overall inflation. \u200bOverall inflation, which includes food\u200c and energy costs, is \u2064slightly up \u200dat 3.2% in\u200d July.<\/p>\n<p>This\u2062 means that despite Biden&#8217;s claims \u200bof a successful economy, Americans are still facing higher\u200d prices\u2062 for essential \u2063items like\u2063 food and energy, \u200bwhich are not factored into core inflation calculations.<\/p>\n<p>As a result, Americans \u2063are paying approximately 17% more at\u2063 grocery stores and restaurants\u2064 since February \u20622020.
