She argues\u200b that puberty is \u200da necessary \u2062stage of development and \u200bblocking it is unnecessary. She believes that the majority of \u200cchildren,\u200b if \u200dallowed to go through puberty, will become comfortable with their bodies and\u2064 that preventing\u200c puberty may actually\u2062 solidify \u2062their dysphoria instead of allowing\u2064 them to grow out of it.<\/p>\n<h3>Accusations and\u200c Counterarguments<\/h3>\n<p>Beshear has \u2062been accused by \u200bKentucky Republicans of lying about his record on gender reassignment surgeries for \u200cminors.
