Version: 4.0.47--><h2>Op-Ed: FDA Puts \u200bPolitical Agenda Above Women&#8217;s Health by Approving New Over-the-Counter Contraceptive<\/h2>\n<p>On Aug. \u200d3, a U.S. district court judge in Illinois overturned \u2063a law \u2063targeting the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/trump-denied-request-for-delay-in-jan-6-hearing-after-truth-social-tirade-against-judge\/\" title=\"Trump refused to postpone Jan. 6 hearing despite criticizing judge on Truth Social.\">free \u2063speech rights<\/a> of\u2063 pro-life pregnancy\u200b centers opposed\u200c to abortion-causing contraception.<\/p>\n<p>The law would have\u2063 enabled the Illinois attorney general to fine pregnancy centers $50,000 for each instance of what the\u200b state considers \u201cmisinformation\u201d or failure to communicate the state\u2019s message on abortion and contraception.<\/p>\n<p>The battle \u200bover abortion and abortion-causing contraception continues to heat up ahead of not\u2063 just the presidential election, but also an anticipated 5th Circuit ruling\u2064 potentially outlawing chemical abortion.<\/p>\n<p>On July 11, fears the 5th Circuit will overturn the FDA\u2019s illegal approval of chemical abortion resulted in \u200bthe FDA\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fda.gov\/news-events\/press-announcements\/fda-approves-first-nonprescription-daily-oral-contraceptive\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">approval<\/a> of the cancer-causing contraceptive Opill for sale over the counter, without a doctor\u2019s prescription.<\/p>\n<p>Along with the illegal approval of the\u200d \u201cchemical coat\u2064 hanger\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/joseph-public-deserves-know-truth-dangerous-abortion-drug-mifepristone\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mifepristone<\/a>, FDA approval of a Group 1 carcinogen\u200d to be sold to adolescent girls is yet \u2063another tragic demonstration of \u2062a politicized FDA willing to sacrifice women\u2019s health on the altar of abortion.<\/p>\n<p>In support of the\u200c decision is the pro-abortion American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, tacitly <a href=\"https:\/\/www.acog.org\/news\/news-releases\/2022\/07\/acog-statement-on-fda-submission-for-over-the-counter-access-to-contraception\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">admitting<\/a> abortion is being used as birth control while arguing for its need in post-Roe America.<\/p>\n<p>It is no \u200bwonder that on the day of the FDA approval, Vice President Kamala Harris <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RNCResearch\/status\/1679988366618624000\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">revealed<\/a> \u2064 the Biden \u2062administration\u2019s investment \u2063in \u201cpopulation reduction.\u201d Apparently, the FDA\u2019s mission to \u201cprotect\u200c the public \u2063health\u201d is going to be accomplished by reducing the public.<\/p>\n<p>Peer-reviewed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pmc\/articles\/PMC4135458\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">medical studies<\/a> still demonstrate that \u200cthe once-a-day pill \u200dunder consideration carries a \u201ccarcinogenic risk \u2026 at least comparable to the risk of [combined oral contraceptives].\u201d The World Health Organization has \u200clisted oral contraceptives as Group 1 carcinogens along with plutonium, causing increased risk of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.compasscarecommunity.com\/2018\/01\/hormonal-contraception-increases-breast-cancer-risk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">breast<\/a>, cervical and liver cancer.\u00a0One <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pmc\/articles\/PMC4135458\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">study<\/a> reveals that breast cancer incidences have increased \u200c242 percent since 1970, coinciding with \u200bthe \u200cwidespread use of hormonal birth control. Additional risks include heart attack and stroke.<\/p>\n<p>Peer-reviewed <a href=\"https:\/\/lifelegaldefensefoundation.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/filed-bcpi-littlesistersscotus.pdf?bbeml=tp-9w_HI50_QEC6FnRVSIB4Fw.jdChcbrUaCkaWe9RiwVCNBA.rVPavdncQdkyg1TNDd38WLA.lPgyzeenIq0mD07N5aiumAA\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">evidence<\/a> demonstrating the extreme health risks to women was presented\u2063 in a case before the Supreme Court when the Department of Health and Human Services mandated that all employers, including the Roman Catholic nonprofit Little Sisters of the Poor, cover these drugs, even against their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/illinois-might-mandate-teachers-to-embrace-progressive-viewpoints\/\" title=\"Illinois Might Mandate Teachers To \u2018Embrace\u2019 Progressive Viewpoints\">deeply held religious convictions<\/a>. The expert medical testimony to the\u200b court revealed that the \u2064pill increases the risk of \u2062the most\u200d aggressive, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/doctors-warn-new-medical-school-guidance-would-lead-to-unqualified-physicians-and-unscientific-medicine\/\" title=\"Doctors Warn New Medical School Guidance Would Lead to Unqualified Physicians and Unscientific Medicine\">triple-negative breast cancer<\/a>\u200c in girls 18 and under by 6.4 times.<\/p>\n<p>Sidestepping science, the FDA\u2019s so-called expert advisory\u2064 panel was stacked with abortion activists, according \u200dto the <a href=\"https:\/\/lifelegaldefensefoundation.org\/no-surprisebig-pharma-gets-unsafe-hormonal-drug-recommended-for-otc-sale-including-to-children\/?bbeml=tp-9w_HI50_QEC6FnRVSIB4Fw.jdChcbrUaCkaWe9RiwVCNBA.rVPavdncQdkyg1TNDd38WLA.lCeKHT6KPgU-fpiMWu6tWZQ\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">assessment<\/a> of the Life\u200d Legal Defense Fund. Dismissing the dangers, the committee recommended the FDA sanction the over-the-counter sale of Opill in a unanimous vote.<\/p>\n<p>The vote appears to be a \u2064<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/exclusive-american-counterpunch-governor-greg-abbott-touts-his-state-as-the-land-of-freedom-and-opportunity\/\" title=\"Exclusive -- American Counterpunch: Governor Greg Abbott Touts His State as the Land of Freedom and Opportunity\">purely political move<\/a>, responding to the possibility that the 5th Circuit and Supreme Court may overturn the FDA\u2019s Clinton-era illegal fast-track approval of the\u2064 dangerous chemical abortion drug Mifepristone.<\/p>\n<p>Not\u2064 only does the logic \u2062of the committee\u2019s decision \u200ctacitly reveal that abortion is being used as contraception, but it \u200donce again shows a willingness on the part of the FDA to tie women to the tracks\u200d of the oncoming abortion train. The\u200b decision to expose women and girls to high-risk hormone\u200b therapy without physician oversight or parental\u200b guidance recklessly holds their health hostage to a political \u2064narrative. Apparently, risking women\u2019s health is a \u2064small \u2062price to pay for the \u2062pro-abortion political elite to further their\u200d agenda.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, calling the \u200dpill \u201chormone therapy\u201d \u200cis a misnomer, as it is a synthetic steroid designed to \u2062create an inhospitable environment so a newly formed baby cannot implant in the uterine lining, thus aborting the baby.<\/p>\n<p>But then there\u2063 is\u200c the pharmaceutical company Perrigo, the manufacturer of\u2064 Opill, whose stock prices jumped at the prospect of a spike in sales. However, \u2063it does not \u2062appear the U.S. government \u2064is providing Perrigo immunity from any medical injuries caused by the pill like it did for manufacturers of \u2064experimental <a href=\"https:\/\/www.phe.gov\/emergency\/events\/COVID19\/COVIDvaccinators\/Pages\/PREP-Act-Immunity-from-Liability-for-COVID-19-Vaccinators.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">COVID vaccines<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Will the \u2062U.S. \u200dprovide immunity to pharmacies for failure\u2062 to communicate the extensive risks and side\u200b effects?
