This conclusion disappointed those who sought to sacrifice him for the sake of racial justice. Contrary to media reports, not a single witness claimed that Brown said &#8220;don&#8217;t shoot.&#8221; Witnesses who claimed Brown had his hands up were either\u200b contradicted by evidence or later recanted their testimony. Unfortunately, that is not the country we live in. Instead, on\u2064 the anniversary of Brown&#8217;s death, \u2063the media once again canonized him. Local news stations described the case as\u2064 a &#8220;ceremony to honor Michael Brown, the teenager shot and killed by a \u200cpolice officer after a confrontation.&#8221; They conveniently omitted the facts we discussed earlier, focusing on irrelevant details \u200dlike the length of time Brown&#8217;s body lay in the street. Perhaps \u2064they are still taking orders from the Democratic \u2064Party, which refuses to let go of the false narrative.
