James Comer <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxbusiness.com\/politics\/house-gop-to-subpoena-biden-family-bank-records-dont-lie-rep-comer-says\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">announced<\/a> Thursday that his committee is planning to subpoena Biden family members, including President Joe Biden and his son Hunter Biden, over \u200bthe growing evidence that the Bidens traded influence over American foreign policy for millions\u200c of dollars.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are going to subpoena \u2064the\u200d [Biden] family,\u201d Comer told Fox News host Maria Bartiromo, adding, however, that he does not \u2063have a specific\u200c timeline for the subpoena because the committee wants \u201cto talk to about three or four\u200d more associates first.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019ve been communicating\u2064 with a couple of \u200dthem,\u201d Comer continued. \u201cWe\u2019re trying to\u200c bring them in just like we did\u2063 Devon Archer for a transcribed interview. \u2063If they don\u2019t come in \u200bvoluntarily, then\u2064 they\u2019ll be subpoenaed.\u201d Devon Archer, a former Biden family business partner, <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/08\/03\/devon-archer-burisma-hired-hunter-biden-to-develop-brand-intimidate-opponents\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">testified<\/a> to the Oversight \u2063Committee last week\u2064 that foreign oligarchs hired\u2062 Hunter Biden to buy access to politicians, \u200csuch as his father, then-VP \u200bJoe Biden.<\/p>\n<figure>\n<blockquote data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<div lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">\n<p>\ud83d\udea8BREAKING: Rep. The documents also reveal \u200dhow \u2064the family funneled money through several shell companies\u200d to hide \u201cthe source and size \u2062of the payments.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is a complicated case, and we\u2019re being obstructed every step of the way\u200d by the Department \u200cof Justice, by the FBI, by the Secret Service, by the IRS, and by the Biden family attorneys,\u201d said Comer.<\/p>\n<p>Comer explained that Biden\u2019s lawyers are \u201cmaking it harder and harder to get bank\u2064 records\u200b on \u200cthe [Biden] shell \u2063companies, [they\u2019re] \u200cthreatening the banks, [and] they\u2019re threatening the people whose names were on\u200c some of those shell companies\u2062 along with the Bidens.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat we\u2019re\u200d seeing every day behind the scenes from the Department of Justice, from the FBI, from the Biden attorneys, and from \u2063the \u2062Democrats on the House Oversight Committee, should make every \u200cAmerican sick of their stomach,\u201d added Comer.<\/p>\n<p>The Department of \u2062Justice has engaged in particularly significant, criminal interference\u2062 in\u2062 investigations\u2063 related to \u2063the Biden family\u2019s business dealings. For months, the FBI illegally <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/05\/31\/breadcrumbs-from-a-buried-fbi-source-may-lead-to-a-bigger-biden-scandal\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">hid<\/a> from Congress a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/republicans-signal-charging-blinken-with-contempt-of-congress-over-key-afghanistan-withdrawal-memo\/\" title=\"GOP may charge Blinken with contempt over Afghanistan memo.\">key document related<\/a> to the bribery scandal. The document, which was finally <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/07\/20\/explosive-fd-1023-exposes-more-biden-bribery-dirt-and-teases-damning-evidence-to-come\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">released<\/a> to the public by House Republicans in July,\u200b <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/comer-oversight-committee-to-subpoena-biden-family-over-alleged-influence-peddling-scandal\/\" title=\"Oversight Committee to subpoena Biden family for alleged influence peddling scandal.\">details allegations made<\/a> by\u200d a \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/06\/05\/highly-credible-source-reveals-scandal-bigger-than-biden-bribery-fbi-election-interference\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">highly credible<\/a>\u201d confidential human \u200bsource, who said that then-VP Joe Biden and Hunter Biden accepted $5 million each\u200b from Burisma, a Ukrainian\u200c Energy Company.<\/p>\n<p>The source also claims that the Burisma executive behind the\u200c bribery scheme allegedly kept 15 audio recordings \u2063of \u200cconversations\u200b between\u200b him and Hunter Biden and two recordings of conversations\u200d between him and then-Vice President Joe Biden as an \u201cinsurance policy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile,\u200c IRS whistleblowers are claiming that officials within \u200cthe Department of Justice purposely slow-walked and eventually terminated an investigation into Hunter Biden\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/hunter-biden-changes-expected-plea-after-deal-stalls-in-court\/\" title=\"Hunter Biden alters plea as court deal stalls.\">alleged \u2064tax crimes<\/a>. The tax crimes, which involve millions of dollars, \u2062were \u200ballegedly committed around the same time as the bribery scandal, suggesting that the DOJ purposely sabotaged\u2063 the IRS investigation to protect the Bidens by preventing \u2063agents from uncovering the bribery scandal.<\/p>\n<p>Despite\u2063 the explosive revelations and the widespread government obstruction, Comer emphasized how the media refuses to keep the American people informed, allowing Biden to continue to get away with\u2062 insisting he has had nothing to do with his\u2063 son\u2019s business dealings. \u201cI wish the media\u2062 would ask the president, \u2018What\u2063 exactly did your family do to receive this $21 million that the House Oversight\u2063 Committee \u2062has proven?\u2019\u201d Comer said. \u201c[Biden] just continues to say, well, \u200b\u2018that\u2019s a lie, that\u2019s not true.\u2019\u200c We have their bank records, Maria. Bank records don\u2019t lie.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The documents released Wednesday are the \u200bthird installment \u200dof bank records from the committee.
