We know that this is going \u200bto end up in court, when we subpoena\u200c the Bidens. So\u200c we\u2019re putting together\u2062 a case and I think we\u2019ve done that very well.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Comer did not verify a specific timeline for when this would \u2062take place as he \u2062claimed that he wants to talk to \u201cthree or four \u200cmore associates\u201d of the Biden family first. <\/p>\n<p>The \u201cassociates\u201d were not \u2062identified by the Republican, but\u200d he\u2063 said the Oversight committee was \u201ccommunicating with a couple of them\u201d \u2062and told them \u201cif they don\u2019t come in voluntarily, then they\u2019ll\u2064 be\u200b subpoenaed.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>According to staff memos, the GOP-led\u200d oversight panel has identified more than $20 million in payments to\u2064 the Biden family from foreign countries including China, Russia, Ukraine, Romania and\u200c Kazakhstan. His former business partner Devon Archer recently testified to the House Oversight Committee\u200c that the Biden \u2062family \u201cbrand\u201d was intertwined in their ventures when Joe \u2064Biden was vice president. <\/p>\n<p>Hunter put his father on the \u2062phone around 20 \u200btimes during business meetings, according to Archer. He also claimed that Joe Biden attended dinners with his\u2063 son\u2019s foreign business associates. <\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>\u201cThe president and the media were telling us \u2062that number one, no money\u200c had been transferred to the Bidens while Joe Biden\u2063 was vice president \u2014 that was false,\u201d Comer contended. \u201cHe\u2063 said he never\u200d communicated\u2064 with\u200b any of the people who were wiring his\u2064 family \u2062the millions of \u2062dollars \u2014 that \u2063was probably the biggest lie of all, Maria.
