Having a baby is the \u200bgreatest joy \u200din\u2064 the \u200cworld!\u201d Lohan \u2062wrote \u2062to her 13.8 million\u200d followers, going on \u2062to plug \u2063her \u201coutfit of the day\u201d and drop <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=wI9I_jkLIXE&#038;ab_channel=MeridethBradley\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">a \u200breference<\/a> to \u201cMean Girls,\u201d another cult classic that helped make her famous. \u201cMy OOTD lately is my @fridamom\u200b postpartum underwear.\u2062 Because I\u2019m not \u200ca regular mom, I\u2019m a postpartum \u2062mom.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote data-instgrm-captioned data-instgrm-permalink=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/CvdNKG6SD7l\/?utm_source=ig_embed&#038;utm_campaign=loading\" data-instgrm-version=\"14\"><\/blockquote>\n<h3>Embracing\u2062 the\u200b Fulfillment of Motherhood<\/h3>\n<p>Good on Lohan for stating what should \u200bbe\u2063 obvious both biologically and socially but isn\u2019t: Bringing \u2062new life into\u200d the world and\u200d cultivating a family \u2063is one of life\u2019s fullest\u200c joys. While most celebrities try to convince themselves and the watching world that the path\u2062 to success \u200cis paved with\u200c abortion, it\u2019s always refreshing\u200c to hear the true message that embracing\u2064 what our \u200bbodies were designed to do brings the utmost fulfillment.<\/p>\n<p>Women have a totally unique and kick-butt ability to incubate\u200b a human life from the moment \u2064of conception and then labor through the intense\u200c task of bringing that whole new person into the outside \u2062world.\u200b Ladies literally create families and communities and nations \u2014 all with the insane\u200d power that is our bodies. <em>Oh,\u200b you made partner? That\u2019s nice. She made \u200dpeople!<\/em><\/p>\n<p>How\u200c the heck did multiple generations get duped into thinking our uteruses gave us \u2062the raw end of the deal? That\u2019s what happens when you convince yourself and the rest of your sex that C-section scars are\u200d less admirable\u2064 than C-suites and that managing a \u2063household is lame compared to managing a marketing department.<\/p>\n<p>Radical feminists don\u2019t just lie about what babies do\u200c to careers, though. \u200dThey\u200d resent what babies \u200ddo to bodies: Goodbye, hourglass. Hello, saggy, puffy, human burp cloth. Ever notice\u2062 how \u201cbody positivity\u201d feminists love obesity\u2064 but loathe the idea of a little \u2062baby weight?<\/p>\n<p>In an \u200battempt\u2062 to have babies but avoid the dreaded body changes, some celebrities turn to the exploitative surrogacy industry. Just ask Khloe Kardashian \u2064how that goes. \u200cLast July, Kardashian\u2019s\u2062 son Tatum was born after being created in a lab\u200c through\u200b in vitro\u2062 fertilization \u200cand then \u200bimplanted in a surrogate. It compromised their mother-son bond, she explained, lamenting that she wished people \u2063were more \u200chonest about the\u2064 harsh realities of renting a\u2064 womb.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI felt really \u200dguilty that\u2063 this woman just had my baby,\u201d \u200cKardashian <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/05\/26\/khloe-kardashian-explains-everything-wrong-with-self-serving-surrogacy-its-such-a-transactional-experience\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">confessed<\/a> of \u200dthe surrogate. \u201cI take the baby\u2064 and \u200bI go to another room, and \u2063you\u2019re sort of separated. \u200dIt\u2019s such a transactional \u2064experience\u2062 \u2019cause \u200dit\u2019s not about him.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>So many prevailing\u200b narratives \u200cabout female physiology are \u200djust vicious lies. On the \u200done hand,\u2062 you don\u2019t have to look any further\u200d than Lizzo to know the \u200b<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/lena-dunham-launches-plus-size-clothing-line-discusses-issues-with-body-positive-movement\/\" title=\"Lena Dunham Launches Plus-Size Clothing Line, Discusses Issues With Body Positive Movement\">body positivity movement<\/a> is\u200c a death spiral \u2014\u200c a postmodern attempt to shun health and natural beauty in \u200dfavor of grotesque self-destruction. But there\u2019s nothing ugly or unhealthy about a postpartum body. Lohan gets this right, too, showing off her\u2064 new figure because it\u2019s really\u200c about \u201cwhat this body \u200cwas able\u200d to accomplish\u201d \u2014 and\u2062 that\u2019s \u2063something to be\u200c proud of.<\/p>\n<p>Take a cue from Lohan, embrace \u200cyour body\u2019s potential, and don\u2019t fall for feminism\u2019s\u200b tired lies.
