The\u200c Department of Justice (DOJ) and Trump\u2019s legal team have been sparring over the \u200dparameters of a protective order\u2063 that \u200cwould govern what the 45<sup>th <\/sup>president is and is not allowed to say regarding discovery material. Davis says there is \u200dno doubt Chutkan will side with Special Counsel Jack \u200cSmith.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>\u201cThis is \u2062a\u2062 radical left wing Obama judge who was hell bent on getting Trump,\u201d Davis told One America\u2063 News. \u201cAnd there\u2019s no question she\u2019s going to impose an\u200c unreasonable gag order on President Trump because [Attorney General Merrick] Garland, [President Joe] Biden, Jack Smith, and\u2063 these DC judges want to \u200crailroad\u2064 President Trump.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Smith has argued for an all encompassing protective order\u200b on Trump. This would silence Trump \u2062on both\u200b sensitive \u200dand nonsensitive discovery material handed over by the DOJ. In a\u200d court\u2062 filing,\u2064 Trump\u2019s \u2064legal team argued this would be an attack\u200c on\u200d Trump\u2019s First Amendment rights.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>\u201cIn a \u200ctrial about First Amendment rights, the \u200bgovernment seeks to restrict First Amendment rights,\u201d\u2064 Trump Attorney John Lauro wrote in a court filing. \u201cWorse, it does so against its administration\u2019s primary\u200d political\u2063 opponent, during an election season in which the administration, prominent party members, and media allies have campaigned on\u2064 the indictment \u200band proliferated its false allegations.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Mike Davis says this will not fly with \u2063the American people.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>\u201cThey want to\u200b do this in DC with this Biden prosecutor, this Obama \u2062judge, \u2064and a DC jury pool \u200cthat\u2019s 95% Trump deranged,\u201d Davis said. \u201cAnd President Trump is not\u200b allowed to speak out that they want to \u200bdo this in secret and gag him so he can\u2019t defend himself during a presidential \u2063campaign.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Smith argued in \u2063a dueling filing that Trump wants to \u201ctry this\u200d case in the media \u2064rather than in the courtroom.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>\u201cThe defendant has proposed \u200can unreasonable order to facilitate his plan to litigate this case in the media,\u2063 to the\u2062 detriment of litigating \u200cthis case in the courtroom,\u201d Smith wrote.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Davis says an all encompassing gag \u2062order would allow the DOJ to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/hearing-over-disputed-protective-order-in-j6-case-set-for-friday\/\" title=\"J6 Case Hearing on Protective Order Set for Friday.\">simply leak damaging information<\/a> about Trump to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/protesters-clash-with-cops-threaten-to-burn-dc-during-black-lives-matter-march\/\" title=\"Protesters Clash With Cops, Threaten To \u2018Burn\u2019 DC During \u2018Black Lives Matter\u2019 March\">legacy media outlets<\/a>.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>\u201cThe same Biden Justice Department who have \u2063been leaking since the illegal Mar-a-Lago raid\u200d last August are now complaining that President Trump is publicly speaking out \u200dagainst \u200dthe politicized and weaponized justice \u200bsystem that \u2063have gone after him,\u201d Davis said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Davis says the DOJ is simply targeting Trump, because he is the biggest threat to a second term of President Joe Biden.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>\u201cThey want to throw Trump in prison for the rest of his life for \u2064the noncrime of objecting to a presidential election,\u201d Davis \u2064said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Stay informed! \u2062Receive breaking news blasts directly to\u2064 your\u200c inbox\u2062 for free.
