Across eight states and Washington, D.C., over 7.7\u200b million people have received <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/white-house-releases-list-of-president-trumps-accomplishments-and-it-is-historic\/\" title=\"White House Releases List of President Trump\u2019s Accomplishments \u2013  And It Is Historic!\">food stamps<\/a> since the 1st of the month.<\/p>\n<p>California, Colorado, Idaho, Iowa, Kansas, Nevada, Oklahoma, South Carolina, and Washington, D.C., will end their programs for August on Thursday after beginning on Aug. 1. SNAP payments were issued across the state to \u200celigible households based on \u2062their Social \u2064Security number, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/no-spike-in-florida-coronavirus-cases-despite-no-mask-mandate\/\" title=\"No Spike in Florida Coronavirus Cases Despite No Mask Mandate\">case number<\/a>, or birth date.<\/p>\n<h3>Maximum Payments and Eligibility<\/h3>\n<p>The amount \u200ban eligible household receives varies by state and depends on income levels and state requirements. Across all states and Washington, however, the maximum payments are the \u200bsame.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A household of one can receive \u200cup to $281.<\/li>\n<li>A household of four can\u2063 receive up to\u2062 $939.<\/li>\n<li>A household of eight can collect a maximum of $1,691.<\/li>\n<li>An additional $211 is included for each person after \u2064eight.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Households that get food stamps &#8220;are\u2062 expected to spend about 30 percent\u2062 of their resources on food,&#8221; according to the\u2062 United States Department of \u2062Agriculture&#8217;s website.\u2062 SNAP benefits are calculated by multiplying a household&#8217;s net income by 0.3 before deducting that number from\u200b the maximum payment for the household size.<\/p>\n<p>For \u200dexample, a four-person household \u2064with a net income of $1,093 will receive $611 \u2062for a full \u2064month.<\/p>\n<h3>Using SNAP Benefits<\/h3>\n<p>SNAP benefits are reloaded onto an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/food-stamps-snap-programs-end-for-august-in-several-states-and-territories-on-thursday\/\" title=\"SNAP programs in multiple states and territories end this Thursday.\">electronic benefits transfer \u2063card<\/a> each month, which\u200d can be used similar \u2062to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/another-wave-of-portland-police-quit-amid-massive-spike-in-shootings-and-stabbings-fire-dept-responding-to-10-homeless-tent-fires-a-day\/\" title=\"Another Wave Of Portland Police Quit Amid Massive Spike In Shootings And Stabbings; Fire Dept.
