Sexual\u2064 Abuse<\/h2>\n<p>The seemingly innocent\u2063 phrase,\u200c \u201cchicken\u2063 soup,\u201d used in a Facebook search field \u2062could potentially get\u200c a user flagged with a\u2063 warning\u200c about <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/author-of-sound-of-freedom-hit-piece-exposed-as-lgbt-activist-who-fretted-over-stigmatizing-pedophiles\/\" title=\"Author of 'Sound of Freedom' Hit Piece Revealed as LGBT Activist Concerned About Stigmatizing Pedophiles\">child \u2064sexual abuse<\/a>, according to news \u2063reports.<\/p>\n<p>Users searching those words on \u2064Facebook have\u2063 been\u2064 receiving a message advising that\u2063 \u201cWe think your \u2062search might\u200d be \u200cassociated with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/anti-sex-trafficking-advocates-slam-twitter-on-heels-of-bombshell-lawsuit-from-teen-victim\/\" title=\"Anti-Sex Trafficking Advocates Slam Twitter On Heels Of Bombshell Lawsuit From Teen Victim\">child sexual abuse<\/a>,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.distractify.com\/p\/why-is-chicken-soup-flagged-on-facebook\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Distractify<\/a> recently\u2063 reported.<\/p>\n<h3>Say what?<\/h3>\n<p>The alert \u2062goes on \u2064to describe\u2063 the harm \u200dthat\u200b sexual \u2062exploitation does to children, and warns that viewing\u200c sexual \u2064images or videos of children \u2062\u201ccan lead to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/74-year-old-ex-teacher-faces-600-years-prison-brave-young-man-school-basement\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">imprisonment<\/a> and other severe personal consequences.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>It turns out\u2064 that there\u200d is a darker, more \u2063sinister meaning to\u200c the term that has nothing to do with the culinary\u2062 concoction.<\/p>\n<p>It apparently is linked to the Spanish-language term\u2063 for the menu item: \u201ccaldo de pollo,\u201d abbreviated \u201cCP,\u201d \u2014 \u2062which also, \u2063authorities said, can stand for \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/ex-ncaa-qb-cleared-child-pornography-charges-speaks-8-months-silence\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">child pornography<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>An example \u200bof \u200bthe\u200d term\u200d being used in that context came to light in a story \u2063about the \u200brecent arrest of \u2064a\u2063 Mexican man who attempted to cross into the U.S. on July 15 near Brownsville, Texas, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.valleycentral.com\/news\/local-news\/docs-man-caught-with-child-porn-told-agents-his-message-tienes-cp-stood-for-caldo-de-pollo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">KVEO-TV<\/a> \u2064reported.<\/p>\n<p>Officials with\u2063 the U.S. Customs \u2062and Border Protection said they searched\u2064 the man\u2019s cell phone and found videos of \u2064\u201cprepubescent female children.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Homeland Security Investigations RGV <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/single-county-snares-28-suspected-child-sex-predators-rescues-19-kids-operation-hydra\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Child Exploitation Task\u200b Force<\/a> \u2062was summoned,\u200c and investigators from that agency said there were more than 10\u2062 videos of \u2062child porn on the \u200bman\u2019s phone.<\/p>\n<p>Agents asked the suspect about an outgoing message on his Telegram app that asked,\u200b \u201cTienes CP\u201d \u2014 which means, \u201cDo\u2064 you have CP?\u201d in English.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe told agents\u2064 \u2018CP\u2019 stands for \u2018caldo de pollo,\u2019\u2063 which translates to\u2063 chicken soup,\u201d KVEO \u200breported.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe also claimed that \u2018caldo de pollo\u2019\u2062 is a\u200d code for child porn, but denied knowing the \u200dmaterial was on his phone.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The man was arrested on a\u2064 charge of possession with intent to view material containing child\u2062 pornography that had\u200c been transported by\u2064 foreign \u2062commerce,\u200b the outlet \u200dreported, citing federal\u2063 records.<\/p>\n<p>Some <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/dem-ex-mayor-defends-pleading-guilty-child-porn-charge-saying-know-make-mistakes\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">social media<\/a> companies have been accused of \u200bfacilitating \u200bchild exploitation<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wsj.com\/articles\/instagram-vast-pedophile-network-4ab7189\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Wall Street Journal<\/a> published an exclusive report in June\u2064 that said Instagram,\u200c which is owned \u200cby Facebook\u200b parent \u2064company Meta, \u201chelps connect and promote a vast network of \u200daccounts\u2062 openly devoted to the commission and purchase of \u2063underage-sex content.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Its investigation, assisted by researchers \u200bfrom Stanford\u2062 University and\u200c University\u2062 of Massachusetts \u2063Amherst, found\u2064 that\u2064 Instagram \u2063\u201cdoesn\u2019t merely host these activities.
