It\u2019s like trying to get into a moving \u2064vehicle, but taken down several thousand notches.<\/p>\n<p>Williams claims that while trying to\u2063 get on one of these moving carriages with his wife, a Disney employee abruptly hit the emergency stop \u2064button.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/florida-man-sues-disney-claiming-severe-and-permanent-injuries-after-falling-off-magic-kingdom-ride\/\" title=\"Florida man sues Disney over injuries from Magic Kingdom ride fall.\">stop button allegedly\u200d caused<\/a> a sudden and unexpected jolt on the ride, throwing Williams \u200dto the ground and \u200dcausing said \u2062injuries.<\/p>\n<p>WOFL notes that Williams is seeking\u2062 $50,000 in damages\u200d from Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, US, Inc.<\/p>\n<p>Williams\u2019 lawsuit\u2062 alleges that the theme park was negligent for <strong>\u201cfailing to maintain the premises in\u2062 a reasonable safe condition,\u201d<\/strong> and\u2062 failed\u2063 to correct \u2062or make him \u2064aware of the \u2064situation.<\/p>\n<p>Given \u2062the\u200c severity \u2062of \u2063the\u2062 alleged injuries, the $50,000 figure\u2063 is a peculiar one.<\/p>\n<p>A company the size of \u200cDisney \u200dcan \u2062lose more\u2062 than $50,000\u2063 from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/conservatives-blast-gop-gov-noem-for-refusing-to-sign-bill-protecting-girls-sports\/\" title=\"Conservatives Blast GOP Gov. Noem For Refusing To Sign Bill Protecting Girls Sports\">clerical errors<\/a> alone.<\/p>\n<p>But whether Williams is suppressing that figure \u2064for pragmatic reasons\u200c or\u200b other\u200c reasons, it\u2019s still a \u2063bad look for an entertainment \u200dtitan that is \u200con wobbly knees at the\u2062 moment.<\/p>\n<p>While\u2062 much attention has\u200b deservedly been\u2062 given to Disney\u2019s \u2063 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/disney-gets-nuked-barbie-oppenheimer-setting-woke-giant-another-flop\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">flailing movie studios<\/a>, things haven\u2019t been much \u200crosier in the parks \u2062or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/disney-quietly-deletes-50m-project-existence-less-2-months-release\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">streaming service world<\/a> (where the company\u200b recently \u2062decided that a $50 million show was \u200bworth more as a\u200c tax write-off than as an actual product featured on Disney+.)<\/p>\n<p>As for the parks, due to\u200c a\u2064 likely\u200c combination \u200dof inflation and visiting \u200ccosts, Disney has\u200d seen a sharp drop \u2064in attendance.
