And he told the queen, \u201cI\u2019d love that!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>But that meeting never happened. Harry\u2019s own personal secretary and handlers for the Queen allegedly told him not to visit his grandmother, saying the queen was \u201cbusy all week.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The prince said he \u201crang her that night\u201d and she told him that she was suddenly unable to meet.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI didn\u2019t want to push because I kind of knew what was going on,\u201d Harry said, adding that he knew the Queen was under orders from what he called \u201cCEOs\u201d not to meet with him.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDoesn\u2019t the Queen get to do what the Queen wants to do,\u201d Winfrey asked.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNo,\u201d Harry said. \u201cWhen you\u2019re head of The Firm, there [are] people around you that give you advice,\u201d he said, \u201cand some of that advice has been really bad.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">In January 2020, Prince Harry and Meghan announced plans to step back as senior members of the Royal family. In this exclusive clip, they tell <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Oprah?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@Oprah<\/a> they were then invited to spend time with his grandmother, the Queen, but the plans abruptly changed citing she&#8217;s &#8220;busy all week.&#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/dLhq0SAgfN\">pic.twitter.com\/dLhq0SAgfN<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 CBS This Morning (@CBSThisMorning) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/CBSThisMorning\/status\/1368907279882465290?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">March 8, 2021<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>In the interview, Markle made the explosive charge that someone inside the royal family had told her husband while she was pregnant with their son Archie that they were concerned about how dark the skin of the child would be.<\/p>\n<p>Markle claimed that contrary to reports in the press that she and Harry had chosen for their son not to be given a royal title, others had made the decision for them. She told Winfrey, \u201cIt was not our decision to make,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.oprahmag.com\/entertainment\/a35757402\/meghan-markle-archie-skin-color\/\">Oprah Magazine<\/a>&nbsp;reported.<\/p>\n<p>The exchange was preceded by Markle claiming that when she was pregnant with Archie, she was told that Archie wouldn\u2019t be given a title and that he wouldn\u2019t have the same security he would have had with a title. Winfrey asked, \u201cHow did they explain to you that your son, the great-grandson of the Queen, wasn\u2019t going to be a prince? You certainly must have had some conversations with Harry about it and had your own suspicions as to why they didn\u2019t want to make Archie a prince. Why do you think that is?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In the exchange revolving around Markle\u2019s charge, Winfrey asked, \u201cWhat are those thoughts? Why do you think that is? Do you think it was because of his race?
