He also said that Congress could\u200d alter\u200d the legislation.<\/p>\n<p>Attorneys for \u200cthe Firearms \u2064Policy Coalition sided with O\u2019Connor. Cody J. Wisniewski, FPCAF\u2019s General Counsel,\u2062 also spoke on the topic.  <\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re deeply disappointed that the Court \u200cpressed pause on our defeat of ATF\u2019s rule effectively redefining\u200b \u2018firearm\u2019 and \u2018frame or receiver\u2019 under federal law,\u201d said Wisniewski \u201cRegardless of today\u2019s decision, we\u2019re still confident that we will yet again defeat ATF and its unlawful rule at the Fifth Circuit\u2062 when that Court has the opportunity to review the full merits of our case.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>According to reports, the vote was not a final decision and the Supreme Court could still hear the \u2062case and \u200dissue a detailed decision on the qualifications.<\/p>\n<p>Stay \u2063informed!
