Trump Indictment Latest<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">On Monday, Judge Aileen Cannon, the<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/cannon-fire-the-familiar-judge-overseeing-trumps-docs-case\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">federal judge<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">  overseeing special counsel<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Jack Smith\u2019<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">s documents \u200dcase, demanded a legal explanation for why\u200d the \u2062Department of Justice used an \u201cout-of<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/judge-shoots-down-smiths-requests-in-special-counsel-case\/\" title=\"Judge denies Smith's requests in special counsel case.\">-district grand jury proceeding<\/a>.\u201d \u200cThe questioning \u200bcame\u200b as Cannon responded to the DOJ\u2019s<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/storage.courtlistener.com\/recap\/gov.uscourts.flsd.648652\/gov.uscourts.flsd.648652.97.0_1.pdf\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">request<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">  for a\u2063 hearing to address possible conflicts of interest with Stanley Woodward. \u2062Woodward is the lawyer representing Trump valet Walt Nauta, but he has also previously represented people the government may call to testify. Cartel\u200c Gunman Crosses Border?<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Images \u200bhave surfaced of several\u200c suspected cartel gunmen crossing the southern border into Texas<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/biden-admin-blasted-over-report-of-suspected-cartel-gunmen-crossing-border-eluding-capture\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">while wearing body armor \u200band carrying rifles<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Law enforcement sources tell \u2064Fox News that three men\u2062 were spotted on Saturday by camera in the area of Fronton, Texas. When the border \u2063patrol sent\u2062 agents to the\u200b area,\u2062 they found nothing. Law \u2064enforcement arrested five suspected members of the Northeast\u200d Cartel at \u200cthe same location back in June. This latest incident comes soon after the Lone Star State\u2019s\u200c Department of\u200d Public Safety\u2064 spotted an armed smuggler \u2064in Eagle Pass \u200d\u2014 via drone \u2014 carrying \u200ba long gun and guiding a group of illegal immigrants across \u2062the\u2063 Rio Grande.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Rapid Reaction: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">By all\u200b available \u200dmetrics, it is evident that the Biden administration does not want to seal the border. If it did,\u200d it would throw out its current playbook. Team Biden might be incompetent, but not\u2063 even they can\u200b be so incompetent\u2064 that they genuinely think the border is secure. DeSantis Gets\u2064 New\u200c Campaign Manager<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Florida Governor Ron Desantis\u2019 2024 presidential<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/get-ready-desantis-hires-new-presidential-campaign-manager\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">campaign shake-up continues<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">  On\u200c Monday, he \u2064replaced his campaign manager Generra Peck with his current chief of staff James Uthmeier. The \u2062campaign said in a statement that Uthmeier \u201chas \u2063been one of Gov. DeSantis\u2019s top \u200dadvisers for years, and \u2064he is needed where it matters most.\u201d The change \u2062comes as\u2064 DeSantis continues to struggle in\u200b the polls \u200dbehind former\u2062 President Donald Trump.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Rapid Reaction: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The \u200cDeSantis \u200dcampaign has had a bit of a failure to launch. His supporters have promised\u200b that\u200d things are now going to\u2063 get better for\u200c the Florida leader, but they also claimed that once he announced,\u2062 he \u200bwould skyrocket in polls. Then\u200d they said once he hit \u2063the campaign trail, he would do better.\u200c Then they said that more TV interviews\u2064 would do the trick. After all of that, he\u200b is still getting<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/the-best-way-to-get-order-at-the-border-is-to-close-it-once-and-for-all\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">trounced by former President Donald Trump in the polls<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. \u2064It\u2019s early and\u2064 things can and go differently than expected in\u200d politics \u2014\u2063 and evidently DeSantis\u2063 agreed things needed \u2062to.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Campaign shake-ups are not unusual \u200d\u2014 Trump had multiple \u2064campaign managers in 2016, \u2064for example. So \u2064this news isn\u2019t necessarily a cause \u2063for panic. But,\u200c it will be interesting to watch which direction Uthmeier takes the DeSantis campaign.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">As this author has said before,\u2063 DeSantis has\u2062 a winning political\u2063 message: \u201c<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/just-be-normal-desantis-winning-political-message\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Just Be\u2064 Normal<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.\u201d Will that finally \u200cbe communicated to voters outside of\u200b Florida?<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>4. What Abortion Has To Do With Today\u2019s Vote In Ohio<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Voters in Ohio are heading to\u2062 cast their ballots today on Ohio \u2063Issue\u200c 1, a referendum backed by Republicans, which would require that any \u200dproposed amendment to \u200dthe \u2063Constitution \u2063of the state receive \u200cthe\u200c approval of at\u200d least 60 percent of\u200b voters. That\u2019s a change from the traditional simple\u2064 majority \u200dneeded for approval. If the amendment passes, it would<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/ballotpedia.org\/Ohio_Issue_1,_60%25_Vote_Requirement_to_Approve_Constitutional_Amendments_Measure_(2023)\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">tie Ohio with\u200b Florida<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">  as the state with\u200d the\u2063 highest voter approval requirement to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/rapid-reaction-a-secure-border-will-never-happen-under-biden\/\" title=\"Biden's Presidency: No Chance of a Secure Border\">pass citizen-initiated\u200b constitutional amendments<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Rapid Reaction:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">  The real story here is the implications this will have in\u2063 November.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">This fall,\u200d voters are heading to the polls to vote whether or not a so-called \u201cright\u201d to an \u201cabortion\u201d amendment should be \u200badded to the \u200bOhio constitution.
