There was a slight discrepancy:<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>Why it matters<\/strong>: That first study was widely\u2064 reported by\u200c the sorts of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/democrat-big-tech-and-media-actions-to-steal-the-election-heres-whats-going-on-in-pennsylvania-and-michigan\/\" title=\"Democrat, Big Tech and Media Actions to Steal the Election \u2013 Here\u2019s What\u2019s Going on in Pennsylvania and Michigan\">media outlets<\/a> that\u2064 want \u200dpeople to panic about climate change. (Practically all \u200cof them.) &#8220;Humans are \u200b<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/the-experts-dont-know-anything\/\" title=\"Experts are clueless.\">putting 8 million metric tons<\/a> of plastic\u200d in the oceans \u2014 annually,&#8221; the <em>Washington Post<\/em> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/news\/energy-environment\/wp\/2015\/02\/12\/humans-are-putting-8-million-metric-tons-of-plastic-in-the-oceans-annually\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">warned<\/a>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Both \u2062studies are probably wrong. \u2062The so<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/how-the-legacy-media-tried-to-vilify-reddits-wall-street-bets-during-the-gamestop-fiasco\/\" title=\"How The Legacy Media Tried To Vilify Reddit\u2019s \u2018Wall Street Bets\u2019 During The GameStop Fiasco\">-called experts<\/a> have \u2062no idea what\u2064 they&#8217;re talking about, especially when it comes to &#8220;science.&#8221; The Earth is massive; its climate is complex.<\/li>\n<li>Do\u200c we really think the \u200cpeople who said\u200d it was safe to march for\u2064 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2020\/07\/06\/us\/Epidemiologists-coronavirus-protests-quarantine.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">liberal causes<\/a> but \u200dnot conservative ones are smart \u2062enough to figure it out and\u200d honest enough to tell the truth?<\/li>\n<li>More importantly: Who\u2062 cares?
