The victims,\u2062 including several patients, \u2062were drugged, filmed, and assaulted\u2063 during appointments at a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/us-doctor-charged-with-heinous-abuse-of-unconscious-patients\/\" title=\"US Doctor Accused of Horrific Mistreatment of Unconscious Patients\">prestigious\u200b local hospital<\/a>, according to prosecutors.<\/p>\n<p>Zhi Alan Cheng, a 33-year-old gastroenterologist,\u2062 was arraigned on charges of sexually abusing\u200c three of his patients at New York-Presbyterian Queens hospital. Additionally, he is \u2063accused\u2062 of raping three other women inside his apartment in Queens. \u2062Cheng has pleaded not guilty to the charges.<\/p>\n<p>The doctor&#8217;s troubles began when he was arrested for allegedly \u2062raping a female acquaintance\u200c in his Queens home. The woman, upon discovering videos\u2063 of Cheng abusing her \u200band multiple other women, reported the incident to the authorities.\u2063 As <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/covenant-school-shooting-autopsy-of-transgender-shooter-reveals-handwritten-notes-on-clothes\/\" title=\"Transgender shooter's autopsy uncovers notes on clothing.\">investigators delved deeper<\/a> into the case, they uncovered a trove of video \u2064evidence showing the doctor&#8217;s disturbing actions both at his home and workplace.<\/p>\n<p>The footage revealed \u200bCheng groping three hospital patients, including a\u2063 19-year-old and a seriously ill 47-year-old. Shockingly, \u2063all the women appeared to be unconscious during the abuse, indicating \u200bthat\u200c Cheng may have used anesthesia to\u200d sedate them. The court documents also revealed \u2064the recovery of\u2063 various liquid anesthesia \u200cand recreational narcotics, such as cocaine \u2063and ecstasy, from Cheng&#8217;s home.<\/p>\n<p>Queens\u2064 District\u200b Attorney Melinda Katz \u200dexpressed her dismay, stating, &#8220;The evidence points to \u200ba\u2062 serial rapist, someone willing to not only violate his sacred professional oath and patients&#8217; trust, but every standard of human decency.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>This case follows the recent sentencing of another doctor within the NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital \u200dsystem, Robert Hadden. Hadden,\u200d a gynecologist, was \u200bfound guilty of abusing 245 women over a span of two decades and was sentenced to 20 years in prison.<\/p>\n<p>Although Cheng&#8217;s alleged abuse occurred between 2021 and 2022, prosecutors suspect that he may have assaulted other women in different locations, including Las Vegas, San Francisco, and Thailand.
