However, Democratic and Republican lawmakers are coming to the consensus \u200bthat Democrats \u2063will likely prevail and Issue 1 will fail.<\/p>\n<p>Anti-abortion\u2062 advocates are \u200choping to stop\u2064 the abortion amendment before it reaches voters. If Issue 1\u2064 were to fail, the secretary of state has the most to lose.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFrank LaRose has \u2063wrapped his arms around this issue \u200cand\u200c staked his entire political career \u2064 [on this]. Max Miller (R-OH)\u2062 told Punchbowl News. \u201cNot only abortion but also gun ownership and possession, redistricting, education curriculum \u2062for our children, and other big issues.
