While bravely fighting\u200b the blaze that had been spreading over 20-acres, two\u200b out of the six helicopters responding to the scene abruptly crashed into each other. <\/p>\n<p>The Riverside County\u200b Sheriff\u2019s Department released\u200b a statement on Monday morning regarding this heartbreaking tragedy. <\/p>\n<p>According to the department, after the impact, one\u200b of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/two-black-hawk-helicopters-involved-in-training-accident-in-utah\/\" title=\"Two Black Hawk Helicopters Involved in Training Accident in Utah\">helicopters crashed<\/a> into a hillside, \u200dclaiming the lives of all three \u2063individuals on board. However, the\u200c other helicopter involved in the collision was able to land safely, and thankfully, no one on board that aircraft was injured. <\/p>\n<p>The crash caused the fire to spread \u200cover an additional 4 acres before it was \u2062eventually extinguished by the remaining crew members on site. <\/p>\n<p>During a news \u2064conference on Monday, Cal Fire Southern Region Chief David Fulcher addressed the incident.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>\u201cThis sacrifice should not be \u200cin\u200b vain. \u2062We \u200bmust remember them and provide support to their families,\u201d\u200c Fulcher said.\u00a0 \u201cWe are here for them, \u200band we have already met with two \u2062of the family \u2062members. We are working on meeting with the third. We want\u2062 to assure them that they are not alone.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The names of the three victims have not yet been released, but they have been identified as a Cal Fire division chief, a Cal\u200b Fire captain, and a contract pilot. <\/p>\n<p>The National Transportation Safety Board \u200dis \u200dcurrently investigating the\u2063 crash.<\/p>\n<p><em>This is a developing story.
