What should have been a routine day turned into a dangerous situation for \u200bMeggison.<\/p>\n<p>It happened on a scorching 100-degree day in June. Meggison found himself trapped inside his \u200ccar for about 20 minutes while it was\u2063 parked in his\u2062 garage. \u200bThe heat inside the vehicle was unbearable, and he couldn&#8217;t escape.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I couldn&#8217;t\u2063 open the doors. I couldn&#8217;t lower the\u2063 windows. The \u200ccomputer was \u2064dead, so I couldn&#8217;t open the glove box. I couldn&#8217;t open \u200banything,&#8221; Meggison recounted.<\/p>\n<p>He realized that being stuck in the car for a longer period could be\u200d life-threatening. Fortunately, his sister was able \u200cto open the passenger\u2064 door \u200busing the Tesla app, but the window cracked in the process.<\/p>\n<p>Meggison believes that Tesla needs to address this\u200d issue to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/kamala-gif-tiff-sparks-mandatory-anti-racism-training-at-cornell\/\" title=\"Kamala GIF Tiff Sparks Mandatory \u2018Anti-Racism\u2019 Training at Cornell\">prevent similar incidents<\/a> from \u200bhappening in the future. He&#8217;s not alone in his concerns.<\/p>\n<h3>The Importance of Battery Reliability<\/h3>\n<p>Norma Hubele,\u2064 a car safety expert and founder\u2064 of\u2064 TheAutoProfessor.com, described Tesla \u2064vehicles\u200c as \u2062&#8221;essentially a computer on\u200b wheels that&#8217;s run on a battery.&#8221; She emphasized that if the battery is not reliable\u2062 or if consumers are unaware of how to override battery-related problems, it can lead to serious safety issues.<\/p>\n<p>Firefighter and paramedic Paul Shoemaker also weighed in on \u2063the\u2063 matter.
