One of the most \u200dcontroversial changes is the rule that students should be placed in \u200csex \u200deducation classes \u200dbased on their gender identity \u200brather\u2063 than their biological sex.<\/p>\n<p>The revisions to the state&#8217;s administrative code \u200dwere discussed at \u200ba \u2062board meeting, where concerned citizens\u2062 gathered\u2064 to voice \u2062their opposition to the new rules. Board Vice\u2062 President Andrew Mulvihill strongly\u2062 opposes the \u200drule that requires sex education classes to be separated based on \u200cgender identity. He \u2062argues that this \u2064could be \u2062discriminatory towards \u2064females \u200cand believes it\u2064 will create division \u200bamong \u2064students.<\/p>\n<p>Over a \u200ddozen Republican lawmakers have also voiced\u2063 their opposition to the board&#8217;s decision, expressing concerns that\u200b it will further <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/mayor-stoney-youngkin-and-his-supporters-dont-believe-slavery-holocaust-were-real\/\" title=\"Mayor Stoney: 'Youngkin and His Supporters Don't Believe' Slavery, Holocaust Were Real\">divide parents<\/a>, teachers, and school administrators.
