And \u200cthey acted on it by filing this protective order,\u2062 which is an effort to keep important information about this case from the press.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3>Surprising Lack\u2063 of Media \u2062Support<\/h3>\n<p>Lauro said he was surprised that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/biden-has-yet-to-call-israels-netanyahu\/\" title=\"Biden Has Yet To Call Israel\u2019s Netanyahu\">media networks<\/a> haven&#8217;t \u200calready &#8220;lined up \u200band filed pleadings&#8221; to\u200d the\u2062 Washington, \u200dD.C., \u200cfederal \u2063court to allow cameras into the forthcoming proceedings. He alleged \u200da &#8220;very \u2063broad\u2063 attempt by the Biden \u2063administration to keep information away from the American \u2064people\u200d during the election \u2063season.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The American people have a right to know; of\u200d course, Joe Biden doesn\u2019t \u200cwant that \u200bto happen.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Trump came\u200c to\u200c federal\u200d court last\u200d Thursday, \u2064where he pleaded guilty to four federal charges over his\u2062 alleged efforts to subvert the outcome\u2063 of the 2020 election. Special counsel later filed a motion\u200b to the judge presiding over\u2064 the case, asking\u200b for \u2062a\u2062 protective order for evidence, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/donald-trump-indicted-former-presidents-lawyer-says-he-would-love-to-see-trial-on-tv\/\" title=\"Donald Trump indicted; lawyer eager for televised trial.\">citing recent social media threats made<\/a> by Trump on his\u200c Truth Social \u2063platform.<\/p>\n<p>Lauro said the statements cited by the Justice Department were \u200dTrump&#8217;s response\u2062 in a \u200d&#8221;political&#8221; fashion.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is the problem with bringing a \u200dpolitical prosecution in a political season,\u201d Lauro said on Sunday. \u201cPresident Trump was responding in a political way\u2063 to some\u200c of his political opponents. And the Biden administration wants the judge to put in\u200b place an order that will prevent the press from obtaining exculpatory and material information that might be relevant to \u200bthese proceedings.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Judicial Conference, which is \u2064chaired\u200c by Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts, could vote to amend the rules to allow cameras in \u200cthe\u200d federal courtroom, though they&#8217;ve been reluctant \u200cto do so\u200b in the past. Congress could also pass\u200d a law.<\/p>\n<p>On Aug. 4, \u2064at least three dozen\u2063 House Democrats led \u2063by Rep.
