He \u200ccriticized the practice of changing\u200b the rules in \u2062the middle of the game and engaging \u200din \u2063activities like ballot harvesting and censorship with the help of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/the-new-acting-attorney-general-jeff-rosen-recently-wrote-an-essay-on-foreign-influence-in-us-elections-this-tells-us-a-little-about-his-knowledge-of-whats-going-on-today\/\" title=\"The New Acting Attorney General Jeff Rosen Recently Wrote an Essay on Foreign Influence in US Elections \u2013 This Tells Us A Little About His Knowledge of What\u2019s Going On Today\">social media platforms<\/a>.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;You don&#8217;t \u200dchange the rules in the middle of the game. \u200cYou don&#8217;t ballot harvest. \u200cYou don&#8217;t \u2064do &#8216;Zuckerbucks,&#8217;\u2064 and clearly, having the agencies work with Facebook to censor \u2064things like Hunter Biden, that&#8217;s unfair.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>DeSantis also addressed the theories of Venezuelan \u200delection rigging, stating that while\u2064 the election may not have been \u200dconducted the\u200d way he would have liked, it is different from claiming that votes \u2062were stolen like in the case of Venezuelan President Nicol\u00e1s Maduro.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, DeSantis expressed his opinion on the\u2064 potential conviction of former President Donald \u200dTrump for charges related to his challenge of the 2020 election.\u200b He\u200d stated that\u200b if Trump were to be convicted, he would pardon him, citing the need to move forward and focus\u200b on the country&#8217;s future.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;I don&#8217;t think it&#8217;s in the\u2064 best interest of the country to have a former president\u2062 that&#8217;s\u200b almost 80 years\u200c old go to prison. Just\u2064 like [Gerald] \u200b Ford pardoned [Richard] Nixon, sometimes you&#8217;ve got to put this stuff behind you, and we need to start\u2064 focusing on things having to do with\u2062 the country&#8217;s future. This election needs to\u200b be about Jan. 20, 2025, not Jan. 6, 2021.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>In addition\u2062 to addressing the election, DeSantis\u200c criticized \u2062his opponent&#8217;s behavior \u200cduring a New Hampshire town hall. He called out the insults and\u200c juvenile behavior,\u2062 stating that it is not the way\u2062 a great nation should conduct itself or how the president of the United States should\u2064 behave.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;As Republicans, that will cause \u200dus to lose if we behave that way. There are \u200bmillions of voters out there who do not like what Biden is doing to this\u200b country&#8230; But they aren&#8217;t going to sign \u200cup for\u2064 a candidate who is behaving like that. So let&#8217;s be better. Let&#8217;s look higher, and let&#8217;s set a good \u2063standard for our \u200cchildren to follow.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>DeSantis also took the opportunity to criticize Trump&#8217;s record, pointing out that he is running in 2024 on promises he made in 2016 but did not fulfill. He \u2063highlighted the failure to drain\u200b the swamp \u2063and the fact that Anthony Fauci was running the country \u200dat the end \u200cof \u200dTrump&#8217;s presidency.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;We ended his presidency\u2064 with Anthony Fauci running the country. He couldn&#8217;t even fire Fauci? And so now you&#8217;re going to drain \u2062the swamp? Give me a break.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>DeSantis concluded his remarks by addressing the \u200dchanges in voting rules during\u2062 the 2020 election.
