Additionally, the Touring and Grand Touring versions have seen a price cut of $12,400, now priced at \u200d$95,000 and $125,600 \u2062respectively. The company \u200dhas stated\u200d that this offer will be available while supplies last.<\/p>\n<p>A spokesperson for Lucid has not provided specific details regarding the quantity of stock included in this \u200coffer.<\/p>\n<p>Tesla&#8217;s Model S and \u200bits performance version, the Model S Plaid, which directly compete with the Air, have also reduced\u200c their\u200b prices. The Model S is now priced at\u2062 $88,490, down from $104,990 at the beginning of the \u200byear, while the \u2063Model\u2064 S Plaid\u200c is priced at $108,490, down from $135,990.<\/p>\n<p>About\u2062 a year ago, Lucid and \u2062other EV manufacturers had \u2062to increase their prices due to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/japans-aug-consumer-inflation-hits-near-8-year-high\/\" title=\"Japan\u2019s Aug consumer inflation hits near 8-year high\">rising raw material costs<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/ev-maker-lucid-slashes-prices-of-air-sedan-as-part-of-offer-amid-heating-competition\/\" title=\"Lucid, the EV manufacturer, cuts Air sedan prices amidst fierce competition.\">supply chain challenges caused<\/a> by the COVID-19 pandemic.
