according to \u2063the <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2023\/08\/02\/joe-biden-told-hunter-biz-partner-devon-archer-happy-you-guys-are-together-after-2011-china-lunch\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">New York\u2064 Post<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>That <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/house-oversight-committee-releases-full-devon-archer-transcript-page-45-looks-bad-biden\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">meeting<\/a> was held behind closed doors.<\/p>\n<p>But then Archer sat down for a lengthy interview with former\u200d Fox News host <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/great-opportunity-devon-archer-tells-tucker-carlson-hunter-biden-hired-firm\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tucker Carlson<\/a> that\u200d was released in \u2062two parts\u200b on\u200b Carlson&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/TuckerCarlson\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/watch-cdc-releases-mask-wearing-psa-with-harry-potter-wonder-woman-pennywise\/\" title=\"WATCH: CDC Releases Mask-Wearing PSA With Harry Potter, Wonder Woman, Pennywise\">social media channel<\/a><\/a>, &#8220;Tucker on Twitter.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>One major topic \u2063of conversation in that \u200dmeetup was \u2062a 2011 letter from the elder Biden to Archer that appeared to indicate Joe Biden&#8217;s intimate familiarity with his\u200d son&#8217;s business dealings.<\/p>\n<p>Biden sent a personal note \u2063on Vice Presidential letterhead to Archer after he attended a \u2063luncheon\u2062 with dignitaries including Hu Jintao, who was then\u200c president of China.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I apologize for not getting a chance to talk to you at the luncheon yesterday,&#8221; the typewritten letter begins.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I was having trouble getting away from hosting President Hu. I\u2062 hope I get a chance\u2063 to see \u200dyou again soon with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/washington-post-fact-checker-rewinds-clock-slam-biden-4-pinocchios-hunter-claim-3-years-ago\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Hunter<\/a>. I hope you enjoyed the lunch. It gets a 10 on the\u2062 etiquette scale.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Then the newsman pointedly added, &#8220;But he&#8217;s \u200bvice \u200dpresident of the United States \u200band he&#8217;s talking about <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/report-hunter-biden-still-owns-stake-in-chinese-equity-firm\/\" title=\"Report: Hunter Biden still owns stake in Chinese equity firm\">foreign business deals<\/a> with you and thanking you for that.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Carlson went on, &#8220;These are not business guys. This is the vice president\u200c of the United States. He&#8217;s not allowed to\u2062 be working on businesses \u2063with foreign governments\u2063 while he&#8217;s vice president, I don&#8217;t think.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Archer couldn&#8217;t argue with that. &#8220;Not that I know of,&#8221; he replied.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;But\u2063 here he is!&#8221; Carlson exclaimed.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Right,&#8221; Archer concurred.<\/p>\n<p>Not everyone\u2062 is drawing the same conclusions \u200cfrom Archer&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/incognito-hunter-biden-whistleblower-appears-front-congress-gives-explosive-testimony\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">testimony<\/a> and evidence.<\/p>\n<p>Ian Sams, White House spokesman for oversight and investigations, told <a href=\"https:\/\/thehill.com\/homenews\/house\/4133902-devon-archer-to-tucker-carlson-hunter-biden-speakerphone-calls-with-father-were-abuse-of-soft-power\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Hill<\/a> that Carlson was \u200d&#8221;cherry-picking&#8221; information.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/buyer-hunter-bidens-artwork-gained-access-wh-13-times-landed-presidential-appointment\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">President<\/a> was never in \u2064business with his son, and\u2063 even \u200dhis son&#8217;s associates are testifying to Congress that the President never discussed their business dealings and wasn&#8217;t\u200d involved in them,&#8221; Sams told\u2062 the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/breaking-73976-ballots-released-by-maricopa-county-56-1-for-donald-trump\/\" title=\"BREAKING: 73,976 Ballots Released By Maricopa County \u2014 56.1% FOR DONALD TRUMP\">news outlet<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Hunter \u200bBiden&#8217;s lawyer, <a href=\"https:\/\/thehill.com\/homenews\/house\/4133902-devon-archer-to-tucker-carlson-hunter-biden-speakerphone-calls-with-father-were-abuse-of-soft-power\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Abbe Lowell<\/a>, told The Hill that his client &#8220;did not involve his father in, \u200dnor did his father assist him \u2063in, \u2062his business&#8221; beyond &#8220;small talk.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>However, the letter \u2014 particularly in\u2063 the context in which it was written \u2014 potentially indicates the contrary.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Part 2 \u2063of our interview with Devon Archer is over an hour long and is out this morning.<\/p>\n<p>Check out Part 1 if you missed it. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/HyjB7YzN7a\">https:\/\/t.co\/HyjB7YzN7a<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Tucker Carlson (@TuckerCarlson) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/TuckerCarlson\/status\/1687435989566779392?\">August 4, 2023<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The\u2063 father and son\u200c face potentially serious consequences if \u2064found to have used Joe Biden&#8217;s \u2063political position for personal gain.<\/p>\n<p>Archer is also facing legal penalties, having\u2063 been convicted of trying to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/lawyer-newest-indictment-gives-trump-legal-power-never\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">defraud<\/a> a Native American tribe of\u2063 close to $60 million in bonds, the \u200bPost reported.
