NPR’s Toxic Fixation with \u200bRace<\/h2>\n
The government-funded pundits at National\u200b Propaganda Radio (NPR) seem to have a toxic fixation with race.<\/p>\n
On Tuesday, the outlet blamed the success of American country\u200c music on racial \u200cprejudice. In a podcast episode titled \u201cHow racism became a marketing tool for country music,\u201d NPR brought on a historian to outline the myriad\u200d ways country music is a vehicle for white supremacy. The host, Britany Luse, introduces the episode by \u2064previewing questions to Amanda Martinez, a country music historian at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. Luse wants to know \u201chow country music became this symbol of \u2063racism\u201d and why country music stars<\/a> remain popular despite artists who currently lead the charts \u201cpeddling racist rhetoric today.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIs racism really what it\u2062 takes make country music number one?\u201d\u200d Luse asks. \u201cI wanted to know how country music became this\u200b symbol of racism.\u201d<\/p>\n
The episode went to air over recent allegations of racism against country music stars\u2063 currently\u2062 at the\u200c top of the charts. Jason Aldean\u2019s recent number-one hit, \u201cTry That In \u200dA Small Town,\u201d drew controversy over the suggestion \u200bthat inner-city riots such as\u2064 the record-devastating outbursts \u2062that \u200derupted\u200d in 2020 wouldn\u2019t be tolerated outside \u2063major metropolitan areas.<\/p>\n
Aldean didn\u2019t try to hide the message, as if he even needed to.<\/p>\n
\u201cThat sh-t may fly in \u2064the\u200d city. Good luck trying that\u200d in a small town.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cUnfortunately, I \u200bthink that these three very successful songs at the top of the charts only encourages the country music business<\/a> to continue \u200dwhat it\u2019s always done,\u201d Martinez said, \u201cwhich is making a product for a white conservative base.\u201d<\/p>\n
Aldean, Martinez added, is \u201ccalling for a\u200d suppression of those calls for greater\u2064 freedoms\u201d embedded in the 2020 \u200criots.<\/p>\n
According to NPR, the song is racist because \u2064of its condemnation of deadly uprisings brought about\u200d by Black Lives Matter under the righteous banner of social \u200bjustice.<\/p>\n

The podcast\u2063 host also brought up Morgan Wallen, because he used the N-word \u200done\u2064 time, and Luke Combs, because the song that\u200d has him in the number three spot is apparently adapted from a black queer woman<\/a>. While \u2064social justice warriors might otherwise be flattered by Combs\u2019 tribute to 1988 Grammy winner Tracy Chapman, the cancellers have to see victimization in everything, so they manufacture \u200ca narrative about race so they can continue to label everything \u200b\u201cwhite\u200c supremacist.\u201d\u200c NPR has now decoded country music as a primary pillar of systemic racism, courtesy of the \u200btaxpayer.<\/p>\n
\u201cI think we\u2019re continuing to see \u2062conservatives kind\u2064 of hold up country music as supposedly morally superior to an alternative, youth-oriented black popular music<\/a>,\u201d said Martinez.<\/p>\n
But let\u2019s examine the obscenity that\u2019s come to define rap\u200b music.<\/p>\n
\u201cFukumean,\u201d currently the number one rap song in the country by Gunna, is an anthem about the rapper\u2019s own superiority and unapologetic determination to stay at the top of the social hierarchy.<\/p>\n

But more specifically, let\u2019s examine some rap lyrics about Jews. In 1989, a militant rap group called\u200d Public Enemy released \u201cWelcome to the Terrordome.\u201d The lyrics read, \u201cCrucifixion \u200bain\u2019t\u200c no fiction: so-called chosen, frozen\/Apology made to whoever pleases. Still they got me like Jesus,\u201d followed by \u201cBackstabbed, grabbed a flag from \u2063the back of the lab, told the \u2018rab,\u2063 get off the rag.\u201d<\/p>\n
