Over the next two decades, it \u200bcould\u2062 lead to a decrease of 600 oil wells\u200c in the \u2064affected areas. Additionally, the BLM plans to designate nine zones\u200c of BLM-owned land as &#8220;areas of critical\u200b environmental\u2064 concern,&#8221; covering \u200bover 100,000 acres in the \u200cstate.<\/p>\n<p>Colorado is\u200c a significant player in U.S. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/dem-sen-kelly-increasing-domestic-oil-production-will-lower-gas-prices\/\" title=\"Dem Sen. Some \u200dtribes have\u200d expressed concerns about the \u200dimpact on their revenues from mining and drilling.<\/p>\n<p>This proposal follows the Biden \u200badministration&#8217;s\u2063 recent decision to settle a legal dispute regarding offshore oil drilling \u2063in \u2062the Gulf of \u200cMexico.
