Granholm and Zhang met\u2064 on\u200c November 19 and November 21, 2021, just <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/former-fbi-special-agent-finds-17514-georgia-voters-with-out-of-state-forwarded-mail-addresses\/\" title=\"Former FBI Special Agent Finds 17,514 Georgia Voters with Out-of-State Forwarded Mail Addresses\">days prior<\/a> to the administration&#8217;s announcement that they&#8217;d be \u2062releasing oil from \u200cthe strategic reserves on November 23. The timing of Granholm&#8217;s meetings have critics questioning China&#8217;s level of\u200b influence over the\u2063 Biden \u200dadministration&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/under-trump-americans-have-seen-their-best-wage-growth-in-40-years\/\" title=\"Under Trump, Americans Have Seen Their Best Wage Growth In 40 Years\">energy policy<\/a>.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;Secretary Granholm&#8217;s multiple closed-door meetings with a CCP-connected energy official \u200draise serious questions about the level of Chinese influence on the \u2064Biden administration\u2019s energy agenda,&#8221; Americans for Public Trust executive\u2063 director Caitlin Sutherland told Fox News.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Critics of the \u2062Biden administration have\u200d argued \u200dthat the decision to drain U.S. strategic \u2063reserves has left\u200b the country \u200bin a worse \u200bgeopolitical position.
