He has been married and divorced three times, been addicted to \u2062cocaine, and went through a rehab period in the 1990s. Or I\u2063 was running away from it a \u200clot. I tried to do it my way for \u2064so long with other things you\u2019re looking to fill that hole with. I\u2063 was addicted \u2062to cocaine for quite a while. I went into rehab for that and\u2063 got clear of that. They say you need a higher power to overcome\u2064 that.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h3>A Career \u2062of \u200bSuccess<\/h3>\n<p>Quaid\u2019s career first soared after his role in \u201cBreaking Away\u201d in 1979. The next step \u2064in his ascension toward stardom came in 1983\u2019 \u201cThe Right Stuff,\u201d followed by \u2062\u201cThe Big Easy\u201d \u2064in 1985 and \u2064then his turn \u200bas rocker \u200dJerry Lee\u2062 Lewis \u200din \u201cGreat Balls of Fire\u201d in\u200c 1989.
