This means that eligible children \u2063will have access to Beyfrotus at no\u200c cost.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;Today, we have \u2062turned the corner on the threat of RSV to our youngest, most vulnerable population,&#8221; \u200bsaid\u2063 Thomas Triomphe, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/flashback-former-ag-barr-initiated-spying-program-on-americans-back-in-1992\/\" title=\"FLASHBACK: Former AG Barr Initiated Spying Program on Americans Back in 1992\">executive vice president<\/a> for vaccines\u200d at\u2062 Sanofi.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h3>Who Can Benefit from Beyfrotus?<\/h3>\n<p>Beyfrotus is recommended for infants under\u200d 8 months old entering their first RSV season. Additionally, it is\u200d also\u2063 suitable for children\u2063 between 8 and 19 months\u2063 old who are\u2063 at a\u2064 higher\u200d risk of severe \u200billness and entering their second RSV season.<\/p>\n<p>The CDC highlighted \u2063that Beyfrotus is \u2062a long-acting monoclonal antibody, which has been proven \u2064to reduce the risk of hospitalizations and healthcare visits for\u2062 RSV in \u200cinfants by about 80 percent.<\/p>\n<p>Beyfrotus received\u2063 approval from the Food and Drug Administration \u200c(FDA) last month\u2062 for preventing \u200cRSV disease in\u200b infants. The FDA supported its safety and efficacy based on three clinical trials with favorable results.<\/p>\n<p>Sanofi stated, &#8220;Across\u200b all\u2062 clinical endpoints, \u2062a single\u200c dose\u200c of Beyfrotus delivered high, consistent,\u200c and sustained efficacy against\u2063 RSV lower respiratory \u2063tract disease extending through five \u200cmonths.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, Beyfrotus offers rapid protection\u2062 without requiring activation of the immune system.
