Usually I\u200d choose not to respond to false allegations but these are as unbelievable as they \u200bsound and too\u200b outrageous to not be addressed.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Lizzo, who had\u200d risen to fame for her music and\u200d for promoting body positivity, \u200dis being sued for allegedly sexually \u2064assaulting dancers \u2064and creating an \u200dextremely hostile work environment. <\/p>\n<p>Three dancers, Arianna Davis, Crystal Williams, and Noelle Rodriguez, filed the lawsuit against the singer and her\u2062 team on August 1<sup>st<\/sup>. They claimed\u2062 that Lizzo\u2062 had pressured one of them at an Amsterdam strip club \u2062to\u200b touch a nude performer and that she had put\u2062 them through an \u201cexcruciating\u201d audition after falsely \u200daccusing them\u2062 of drinking at work. <\/p>\n<p>The lawsuit\u2062 also alleged\u200c racial and religious abuse as well as weight-shaming.<\/p>\n<p>A statement \u200dwas released \u200bby the plaintiffs\u2019 attorneys, West Coast Employment Lawyers (WCEL), prior to Lizzo\u2019s response.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>\u201cThe stunning\u2063 nature of \u2063how Lizzo and \u2064her \u2062management team treated \u2064their performers seems to go against \u200deverything Lizzo stands for publicly, while privately she\u2064 weight-shames her dancers and \u2064demeans them in ways that are not only illegal but absolutely demoralizing,\u201d WCEL \u2063attorney Ron Zambrano said in the statement.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/lizzo-denies-sexual-harassment-and-body-shaming-allegations\/\" title=\"Lizzo refutes claims of sexual harassment and body shaming.\">grammy-winning artist denied\u2062 criticizing<\/a>\u200b or terminating an employee due to their weight, citing her personal experiences with body shaming as evidence. She \u200calso reiterated her role as\u200b an \u200badvocate for women, declaring that\u2062 nothing is more important to her.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>\u201cI \u200bam very open with \u200dmy sexuality and\u200c expressing myself but I cannot accept\u2063 or \u2063allow people to use that openness to make me out to\u2064 be\u200b something I am not,\u201d she continued.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The former dancers appeared in an interview this morning\u2062 and \u2062gave their reactions \u2062to \u200dthe artist\u2019s response.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>\u201cPersonally, looking at \u200bthe\u200d response\u2062 from Lizzo was so disheartening because she was there,\u201d Davis said. \u201cShe was there and to \u200cfix your hand, to write on a piece of paper\u2062 that you discredit everything we\u2019re saying is incredibly frustrating.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Zambrano ended his\u2064 closing statement by\u2063 reportedly \u200bclaiming that Lizzo had failed her \u2062own \u201cbrand\u201d and let down her fans.<\/p>\n<p>Stay informed!
