The vehicle was involved in an accident \u200dseveral months ago, and was sitting idle\u2062 when it spontaneously caught fire in the yard. \u200cCrews are unable to move it to a safe\u2062 location to burn out, the vehicle is blocked in\u2026 <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/8ShkbMEQUN\">pic.twitter.com\/8ShkbMEQUN<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014\u200d Metro Fire of Sacramento (@metrofirepio) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/metrofirepio\/status\/1686916643501559808?\">August \u200d3, 2023<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>No \u200dinjuries were reported, and it \u200bis \u200dnot clear how many gallons of water were used to put the blaze\u200b out.<\/p>\n<p>But \u200bit \u200bdid\u2064 take well over an hour for those on \u2064the scene to \u200dextinguish \u2062the flames.<\/p>\n<p>Sacramento Metropolitan\u200b Fire District crews were <strong>\u201cunable to move it \u2062to \u200da safe \u2063location \u200cto burn out,\u201d<\/strong> \u2064 the outlet reported.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/hazmat-crews-called-tesla-catches-fire-towed-not-even-worst-part\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/bidens-climate-agenda-wont-replace-jobs-it-seeks-to-kill-separate-ap-wapo-fact-checks-suggest\/\" title=\"Biden\u2019s Climate Agenda Won\u2019t Replace Jobs It Seeks To Kill, Separate AP, WaPo Fact-Checks Suggest\">electric vehicle<\/a><\/a> was apparently boxed into the business by <strong>\u201cmillions of dollars \u2064in \u200csalvaged vehicles \u200bincluding Ferraris, Lamborghinis and Bentleys.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The \u200bcause \u200cof the fire is being investigated,\u200b but Wednesday\u2019s <strong>\u201cspontaneous\u201d blaze<\/strong> was the fourth such \u2064incident involving an \u200belectric vehicle in the Sacramento \u2062area over the past \u200dyear.<\/p>\n<p>In \u2064every \u200bcase, the car in question was a\u2063 Tesla. The cars are known for being\u200c powered by lithium-ion \u2062batteries that can be unstable.<\/p>\n<p>In some cases,\u2064 Tesla fires require thousands upon\u200d thousands of gallons of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/tesla-catches-fire-takes-25000-gallons-water-42-minutes-firefighters-extinguish\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">water<\/a> to put \u2064out.<\/p>\n<p>Water is\u2062 one precious\u200c resource that\u200b is sometimes difficult \u2062to \u2064spare in California.<\/p>\n<p>In January, a\u200b Tesla Model S was driving down a highway in Rancho Cordova when it too\u2062 <strong>\u201cspontaneously caught fire\u201d<\/strong> on a highway.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/electric-vehicle-spontaneously-catches-on-fire-while-at-high-end-auto-dismantler\/\" title=\"EV catches fire at luxury auto dismantler.\">vehicle battery compartment spontaneously caught fire<\/a> while it was \u200ctraveling freeway \u200cspeeds on EB \u200bHwy 50.
