The transcript of the testimony has now been released, revealing the inaccuracies\u2062 in the Democrat&#8217;s claims.<\/p>\n<p>Rep. Dan Goldman (D-NY)\u200c had told \u2062journalists that Archer \u200chad stated that Hunter Biden sought to create the &#8220;illusion of access&#8221; to\u200b his father,\u2064 then-Vice President Joe Biden, in order to receive undeserved credit. This led\u200b to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/reporter-calls-out-rep-dan-goldman-over-archer-testimony-claim\/\" title=\"Reporter challenges Rep. Dan Goldman on Archer testimony assertion.\">numerous news outlets publishing headlines<\/a> that highlighted this phrase.<\/p>\n<p>CBS News senior investigative correspondent Catherine Herridge, however, pointed\u2062 out \u200bthat\u2063 the phrase &#8220;illusion \u2063of access&#8221; was actually \u200dpart of Goldman&#8217;s question \u200dand not something that \u2063Archer\u200d testified to.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">CBS\u200c calls\u200d out Democrat Rep. He described it as being &#8220;almost fair.&#8221; Archer did acknowledge that there were contacts between Hunter Biden and his father, although\u200c he emphasized that no substantial discussions\u2064 took place.
