min-height: 50px;  text-align: center;\">  \t<script>  \t\tgoogletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display('div-gpt-ad-1663871513696-art-1'); });  \t<\/script>  <\/div>\n<div class=\"ad-slot__ad-label\">Advertisement<\/div>\n<\/p>\n<p>On Thursday, Google <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.google\/products\/search\/new-privacy-tools\/\">announced <\/a>three new feature updates that are meant \u200cfor users to have more \u200bcontrol and accessibility\u2064 to their personal\u2064 information \u2063that comes up in the search engine.\u200b One\u2063 of the upgrades added notifies users if their personal information appears in a Google Search and \u2063permits them to easily remove it if\u2062 desired.<\/p>\n<p>Google Vice-President of Trust, Danielle Romain, announced that the privacy tool<a href=\"https:\/\/myactivity.google.com\/results-about-you?pli=1\"> \u2062 \u201cresults about you,\u201d<\/a> which was <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.google\/products\/search\/a-new-search-tool-to-help-control-your-online-presence\/\">introduced <\/a>in May of last year, will receive significant updates.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>\u201cIn the coming days, \u2064we\u2019ll be \u200crolling\u200b out a \u2063new dashboard that will let you\u2063 know if web results\u200c with your contact information are showing up on Search,\u201d Romain\u2064 said. \u201cThen, you can quickly request\u200b the removal of \u200bthose results from Google \u2014 \u200bright in\u2064 the \u200dtool. \u200bWe\u2019ll also\u2064 notify\u2062 you when new results from the web containing your contact \u2064info pop up in Search,\u2063 to give you added peace\u2063 of mind.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Another one of the new\u2063 updates consists of\u2062 the\u200b automatic blurring of explicit\u200b images that appear in the\u200b search engine.\u2064 Google \u2064said in a press release that the intention of this feature is to help \u201cprotect families from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/google-to-allow-removal-of-explicit-photos-from-search\/\" title=\"Google will now let users remove explicit photos from search results.\">inadvertently encountering \u2062explicit imagery<\/a> on Search.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>If the requests do not meet the \u2064privacy policy\u2019s requirements, such as if the\u200b information is professional rather than\u2064 personal or was\u200c posted on a government or educational web page, Google can \u2063deny the \u200drequest.\u200b It is also important to \u200bknow that the\u200b information will \u2062only \u200cbe removed\u2064 from the search engine and not from the source.<\/p>\n<p>Stay informed!
