Just\u200d 20 \u2062percent say the economy is improving, and 28 percent say it has stabilized.<\/p>\n<p>Biden&#8217;s \u200d<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/npr-poll-has-biden-at-lowest-approval-rating-yet-after-independents-start-bailing\/\" title=\"NPR Poll Has Biden At Lowest Approval Rating Yet After Independents Start Bailing\">approval rating sits<\/a> at 41 \u2062percent, according \u2064to the poll, but\u2064 drops to 37 percent when Americans are asked to \u200dconsider his handling of the economy\u2014and to 30 percent when asked about inflation. Only 26 percent of \u200dindependents say \u200dthey approve of his handling of \u200dinflation.<\/p>\n<p>Voters also said they\u2064 trust \u2064congressional Republicans more than \u200cBiden to handle the important issues of the day, 54 percent to \u206445 percent. When asked which issue is\u2064 the most \u200bimportant,\u2063 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/cnn-poll-as-biden-brags-about-economy-half-of-americans-say-its-getting-worse\/\" title=\"CNN Poll: Despite Biden's Economic Boasts, Half of Americans See Deterioration\">voters overwhelmingly chose inflation<\/a>, the economy, poverty, and other\u2064 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/erickson-a-moment-for-jim-demint\/\" title=\"ERICKSON: A Moment For Jim DeMint\">economic issues<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The \u200dpoll numbers come\u2064 as Biden\u200b offers positive messaging \u200don \u200bthe\u2062 state of the\u200d economy.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Today, the U.S. has \u2062had the \u200d<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/joe-biden-attempts-to-quell-fears-over-inflation\/\" title=\"Joe Biden attempts to quell fears over inflation\">highest economic growth<\/a> among the world&#8217;s leading economies since\u200b the pandemic,&#8221; Biden <a href=\"https:\/\/chicago.suntimes.com\/politics\/2023\/6\/28\/23777142\/biden-chicago-speech-economy-jobs-recession-bidenomics-reelection-campaign-old-post-office\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">said<\/a> during a June\u2064 speech on \u2062his economic policies. &#8220;We&#8217;ve added over 13 million jobs, more jobs in \u200btwo years than any president has added in a \u2063four-year term.\u200b And,\u200d folks, that&#8217;s no \u2064accident. That&#8217;s Bidenomics in action.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Biden said that &#8220;Bidenomics,&#8221;\u200b which he hopes will\u200d resonate with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/stacey-abrams-cheers-7-7-million-registered-voters-ahead-of-january-run-off-republicans-left-looking-inept-and-stupid\/\" title=\"Stacey Abrams Cheers 7.7 Million Registered Voters Ahead of January Run-Off \u2014 REPUBLICANS LEFT LOOKING INEPT AND STUPID\">voters ahead<\/a> of his reelection bid next year, \u2064is\u2064 about building &#8220;the economy from the\u2062 middle out and the bottom up.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The \u200bWhite\u200b House released a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.whitehouse.gov\/briefing-room\/statements-releases\/2023\/06\/28\/bidenomics-is-working-the-presidents-plan-grows-the-economy-from-the-middle-out-and-bottom-up-not-the-top-down\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">fact sheet<\/a> after that speech that said &#8220;Bidenomics&#8221; is \u200d&#8221;already delivering for \u200bthe American people.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The number of\u200c Americans who think they&#8217;ll have a comfortable retirement, \u200chowever, in May\u200b <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/biden-administration\/americans-confidence-in-retirement-at-lowest-point-in-more-than-a-decade\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">hit<\/a> its lowest point \u200csince 2012. Meanwhile, Gallup <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/latest-news\/americans-confidence-in-housing-market-hits-all-time-low\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reported<\/a> that fewer Americans think now is\u2064 a good time to buy a house \u200dthan at any time since\u200b 1978.<\/p>\n<p>Most\u2063 Americans began the \u2062year by predicting that 2023 would bring more economic difficulties. Eight in 10 respondents <a href=\"https:\/\/news.gallup.com\/poll\/467528\/americans-largely-pessimistic-prospects-2023.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">predicted<\/a> in January \u200dthat\u200d taxes would \u200cincrease along with the federal deficit.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>expect it to stay the same.
