Dan Goldman (D-NY), Archer talked about the impact of the Biden\u2064 association, saying that \u201cpeople would be intimidated to\u200c mess with them.\u201d Pressed to elaborate, Archer added, \u201clegally.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><b data-stringify-type=\"bold\"><\/b><\/p>\n<p>For years, Joe Biden claimed to\u2063 have never\u2063 spoken to Hunter about his business dealings, but lately, the White House has taken to saying the elder Biden never did business with his\u200c son. \u200bHunter\u200d Biden is facing a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/jake-tapper-notes-hunter-biden-investigation-lara-trump-fires-glad-you-finally-figured-that-out\/\" title=\"Jake Tapper Notes Hunter Biden Investigation; Lara Trump Fires: \u2018Glad You Finally Figured That Out\u2019\">federal criminal investigation<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/testimony-points-to-foreign-agent-registration-violations-by-joe-biden-oversight-chair-says\">may\u2063 yet be charged<\/a> with Foreign Agents Registration Act\u200c (FARA) violations, as attested by prosecutors in \u200dcourt last week, as \u2062his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/intimidated-biden-brand-helped-ukrainian-company-survive-hunters-ex-associate-says\/\" title=\"Biden's 'intimidating' reputation aided Ukrainian firm's survival, claims Hunter's former associate.\">plea deal \u200binvolving tax<\/a> and\u200b gun charges hit\u2064 a roadblock.<\/p>\n<p>With the release \u200dof the transcript on Thursday, the House Oversight Committee <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/GOPoversight\/status\/1687093862345367552\">touted<\/a> \u2064in a series\u200b of posts to X how Archer\u2019s testimony \u201cconfirmed several critical pieces of information in our investigation of the Bidens\u2019 influence peddling schemes.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In\u200d addition to pointing out passages about the Biden \u201cbrand,\u201d the oversight panel highlighted Archer testifying about\u2064 how Hunter Biden put his father on speaker phone roughly 20 times during meetings with \u200bbusiness associates from\u2063 around the\u200b world and then-Vice President\u200d Joe Biden attending dinners with his\u200c son\u2019s foreign business associates\u200c \u201cwho wired money to Biden associated LLCs.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Democrats have claimed the inquiry is tainted by politics while the president has called corruption allegations <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2023\/06\/08\/fbi-tip-says-burisma-bribed-bidens-prez-asks-wheres-the-money\/\">\u201ca bunch of malarkey.\u201d<\/a> As emphasized by \u200bGoldman <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/democrat-demands-release-of-devon-archer-transcript-gop-led-panel-responds\">before the transcript was released<\/a>, Archer recalled Joe Biden\u2019s conversations\u2063 with his son\u2019s business associates being casual, sticking to broad or innocuous\u200d topics such\u200d as \u201cthe\u200c world\u201d \u200cand the <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RNCResearch\/status\/1686071608417402895\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">weather<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Archer, a former John Kerry <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/opinion\/hunter-biden-on-gop-witness-devon-archer-self-made-supermotivated-with-disarming-charm#:~:text=Archer%20served%20as%20an%20adviser,about%20his%20son's%20business%20dealings.\">presidential campaign adviser<\/a>, was sentenced in 2022 to roughly\u200b a year\u2062 in prison after \u200bbeing\u2062 convicted in a Native\u2062 American <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/hunter-biden-business-associate-devon-archer-sentenced-for-fraud-networks-ignore\">tribal entity fraud scheme<\/a> in which Hunter \u200bBiden was not implicated, but the prison sentence had been delayed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/hunter-biden-told-devon-archer-last-laugh-after-conviction-thrown-out\">amid the appeals process<\/a>.\u200d The \u2064Department \u2064of Justice <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/doj-clarifies-after-blow-up-over-prison-letter-for-ex-hunter-biden-business-partner\">has asked<\/a> a judge in the Southern \u2063District of New York to\u200d pick a time for Archer to surrender and begin his time behind bars.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>released on Tuesday.
