The suit\u2062 targets Lizzo, her production company Big Grrrl Big Touring,\u200c Inc., and\u200b Lizzo\u2019s\u2064 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/former-lizzo-dancers-file-lawsuit-alleging-sexual-harassment-and-toxic-work-environment\/\" title=\"Ex-Lizzo dancers sue, claim sexual harassment &#038; toxic workplace.\">dance team captain<\/a>, Shirlene Quigley.<\/p>\n<p>Lizzo took to \u200dInstagram to\u2064 address the \u2064allegations, calling them &#8220;outrageous&#8221; and stating that \u200bthe\u200d former\u200b employees had already\u200d admitted \u2064their behavior on tour\u2064 was inappropriate and unprofessional.<\/p>\n<p>However, the\u2063 allegations don&#8217;t stop there. Lizzo is also accused of body-shaming a dancer for \u200bgaining weight, which contradicts the positive body image\u2063 she promotes.<\/p>\n<p>The plaintiffs&#8217;\u2062 attorney, Ron Zambrano, expressed his disappointment, saying, &#8220;The stunning\u200d nature \u2062of how \u200dLizzo and\u200c her management \u200cteam treated their performers seems to go against everything Lizzo\u2062 stands for publicly, while\u200b privately she \u2063weight-shames her dancers and demeans them\u2064 in ways that are absolutely demoralizing.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Lizzo responded\u200d to these claims on Instagram, emphasizing her commitment to respect and women&#8217;s \u200cempowerment. She\u2062 stated, &#8220;There is nothing\u200d I take more\u2062 seriously than\u200c the respect\u2064 we deserve as women \u200cin the world. I know what \u2062it feels like to be body-shamed on a\u200c daily basis and would \u200babsolutely never \u2063criticize or terminate an employee because of their\u2062 weight.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Despite the controversy, Lizzo remains determined to stay true to herself. She expressed\u2063 her disappointment in the recent events,\u2064 saying, &#8220;My work ethic, morals, and respectfulness have\u2062 been questioned. I very much applaud the dancers&#8217; courage\u2062 to bring this to light.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Wilson, who was Lizzo&#8217;s creative director, shared his own perspective,\u200b saying, &#8220;I\u2063 haven&#8217;t been a part of that world for\u200d around three years, for a reason. I\u200d very much applaud the dancers&#8217; courage to bring this to\u200d light, and I \u2063grieve parts of\u200d my own experience.
