min-height: 50px;  text-align: center;\">  \t<script>  \t\tgoogletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display('div-gpt-ad-1663871513696-art-1'); });  \t<\/script>  <\/div>\n<div class=\"ad-slot__ad-label\">Advertisement<\/div>\n<\/p>\n<p>The \u2062subsidiary of Belgium\u2019s Anheuser-Busch \u2062InBev posted profit of 2.60 billion \u200dreais ($540.34\u200d million), below the 2.68 billion reais average estimate of analysts polled by Refinitiv. <\/p>\n<p>Revenue\u200d rose \u200c20% from the \u2064same period a year earlier to\u2062 18.9 billion\u2062 reais, as cost pressures continued to ease but missing the 19.80 billion reais consensus view.   <\/p>\n<p>Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) grew in all business\u200c units, though sales volume declined 2.2%.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur top-line performance remained resilient and cost pressures \u200bcontinued to decelerate leading to\u200c bottom-line\u200b growth,\u201d CEO Jean Jereissati said\u2064 in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>Ambev\u200c said commercial momentum continued to \u200bbe led by the Brazilian market. \u2063Still, Brazil beer volume fell 2.5%,\u200b due\u2062 to declining beer and soft drinks industry-wide \u2064sales and the comparison with last year\u2019s s strong post-pandemic recovery.<\/p>\n<p>Businesses in Central America and the Caribbean \u201ccontinued sequential improvement\u201d despite \u2064volumes being down 2.8%  driven\u200d mostly by Panama,\u2063 and with\u200d a slight decline in the Dominican \u2063Republic, the brewer said.<\/p>\n<p>The company \u200bsaid\u200c it remained focused on\u2062 \u201cdelivering consistent and continuous improvement in\u200b terms of \u200cgrowth and profitability despite the short-term volatility in many of \u2062our markets\u201d. <\/p>\n<p>Ambev revised down its full-year outlook for the cost of goods \u200bsold (COGS) per hectoliter, saying that some factors influencing that metric, such as inflation and \u2064commodity \u200bprices, were doing better than initially expected.<\/p>\n<p>The brewer now forecasts COGS to grow between 2.5% and 5.5% this year, down from its previous estimate \u2062of 6.0% to 9.9%.<\/p>\n<p>Ambev is Brazil\u2019s \u2064fourth-largest \u2062company by market capitalization, behind oil giant \u200cPetrobras, miner Vale and lender Itau.<\/p>\n<p>($1 = \u20634.8118 reais)<\/p>\n<p>  (Reporting by \u2063Natalia Siniawski;
