He took the opportunity to condemn President Joe \u200bBiden, \u2062special counsel Jack Smith, and the &#8220;anti-Trump&#8221; city of\u2062 Washington, D.C.<\/p>\n<p>Instead of accepting the arraignment in \u200cwhat he called &#8220;the latest Fake &#8216;case'&#8221; in Washington, \u200dD.C.,\u200d Trump suggested a different\u200b venue. This Indictment is all about Election Interference!!!&#8221; Trump added.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The arraignment\u2062 is scheduled for Thursday afternoon and will\u2063 take place at a courthouse located between the White\u2063 House and \u200bCapitol. The proximity to the Capitol prompted\u200c preemptive security measures, including the\u200d installation of fencing around the government building.<\/p>\n<p>Many Republicans have criticized the case against Trump,\u2063 labeling it as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/there-is-more-evidence-to-impeach-biden-over-ukraine-than-there-ever-was-for-trump\/\" title=\"More evidence supports Biden's impeachment over Ukraine than Trump's.\">politically \u2063motivated<\/a>. They \u2063have\u200b specifically highlighted the contrasting treatment of the former president by the Justice Department compared to Joe Biden\u2063 amid the ongoing investigation into \u200chim and his son.<\/p>\n<p>Trump is not \u2062alone in questioning the fairness\u200c of the arraignment in D.C. Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) appeared on Fox\u2064 News&#8217;s Hannity \u2064and expressed his concerns\u2062 about the trial&#8217;s location.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;Lindsey\u200b Graham, you know the odds \u2064of him winning in Washington, D.C., are next to zero. I do not believe he can,&#8221; host Sean Hannity asked the South Carolina Republican.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Well, Sean, any conviction in D.C. against Donald Trump is not legitimate,&#8221; Graham flatly answered. &#8220;The judge\u2063 in this case hates \u200cTrump. You can convict Trump of kidnapping Lindbergh&#8217;s baby in D.C.!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;You need to \u2062have a change of venue. You \u200cneed a new judge. And we need \u200dto win in 2024 \u200dto stop this crazy crap,&#8221; he added.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>It&#8217;s worth noting that Trump \u200bis also under investigation\u2062 in \u200dFulton County, Georgia, for a possible fourth indictment related to his alleged attempts \u200dto overturn the 2020 election results.
