No injuries\u200c and no shooter were located.\u2064 MPD is assisting U.S. Capitol \u2064Police,&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>A spokesperson from the Metropolitan Police Department informed the Washington Examiner about the \u200dsituation.<\/p>\n<h2>The Mixed \u2062Messages\u200b of\u200b Bidenomics<\/h2>\n<p>At 2:30\u2062 p.m., the call to the police triggered an immediate response from Capitol Police, who rushed to the Capitol \u200cgrounds to evacuate the Russell building.<\/p>\n<p>For over an hour, law enforcement and emergency medical\u200c services\u2063 were on the\u200b scene, ensuring the \u2062safety of Senate staffers and workers as they \u2062were led out of their offices with their hands raised.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;I think at \u2062this point, we can say that \u2062we found no \u2063confirmation that\u2063 there was an active shooter and that this may have been\u200c a bogus call,&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>U.S. Capitol \u2064Police \u2062Chief Thomas\u200b Manger stated during a press briefing.<\/p>\n<p>Approximately 200 police officers meticulously \u200csearched\u2064 each floor of the Russell building, responding to additional 911 calls from concerned employees.<\/p>\n<p>By 4 p.m., the officers had cleared all three\u200d floors, finding\u2064 no evidence of a shooter and no further information to\u200c act upon.<\/p>\n<p>Manger emphasized that no gunshots were heard, and there \u200cwere no victims.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;Please stay away from the area as we are still investigating.
