She swiftly \u2064became the favored judicial candidate\u2063 among her conservative opponent back in\u2064 April.<\/p>\n<p>Protasiewicz made abortion rights a\u2064 centerpiece\u200c of her winning election campaign and called Republican-drawn redistricting maps \u201crigged.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Protasiewicz\u2019s victory\u200d represents an\u2063 entirely new era for Wisconsin\u200d residents, as the outcomes \u2062of some of the state\u2019s most contentious political and policy debates\u2064 over\u200d the\u200d last decade\u200d may now reflect a\u200c more\u200c liberal\u200c and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/rachel-alexander-our-brains-are-wired-differently-than-democrats-so-dont-get-too-mad-at-them\/\" title=\"Rachel Alexander: Our Brains Are Wired Differently Than Democrats, So Don\u2019t Get Too Mad at Them\">left-leaning viewpoint<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The\u2064 formerly Republican-controlled court\u200c was just a single vote away from reversing President Joe Biden\u2019s \u2062tight victory in the state\u200c during the 2020 elections. <\/p>\n<p>As the 2024 elections approach, several \u2063politically explosive\u2064 issues, such as the\u200b state\u2019s abortion prohibition, Republican-drawn political boundary lines,\u2064 and a slew of other concerns, are expected to be\u2063 challenged.<\/p>\n<p>Protasiewicz vowed to not\u200b allow any \u200csort of \u2063political pressure to shift her goals. <\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>\u201cWe all want a Wisconsin where our freedoms are protected,\u201d she said at the ceremony. \u201cWe want a Wisconsin with a fair \u200cand impartial Supreme Court. We all\u200b want to live\u200b in communities that \u200care \u200dsafe.
