In 13 polls conducted during July, Biden led Trump by slight margins in seven of them, Trump led Biden in\u200c two, and they tied in four. According\u200c to the\u200d RCP average, \u2064Biden leads DeSantis 44.7% to 42.7%. Of seven polls taken in July between the two candidates, Biden beat DeSantis in five of \u2064them \u2014 which were mostly Morning Consult\u200b polls \u2014 and DeSantis beat Biden in two of them, a Marquette poll and\u200c a\u200c Harvard\/Harris poll.<\/p>\n<p>Biden\u2019s job approval comes in at a \u200bdismal 42%, according\u200d to the RCP average as Republicans on Capitol\u200c Hill continue to investigate\u200b his son Hunter and have \u200dconnected Hunter\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/latest-presidential-polls-trump-desantis-in-dead-heat-with-biden\/\" title=\"Trump and DeSantis tied with Biden in latest polls.\">shady foreign business\u200c dealings<\/a> to his father\u2019s influence. The 80-year-old president also faces constant criticism and concern, even from within his party, \u200cover his fitness for office. The poll shows a \u2064dramatic drop off after DeSantis with the next closest candidates barely registering with\u200b voters as former Vice President Mike Pence, Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC), and former South Carolina\u2063 Governor Nikki Haley all sit at 3%.
