Gov. Mandela Barnes \u2063by about <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/interactive\/2022\/11\/08\/us\/elections\/results-wisconsin-us-senate.html#:~:text=Wisconsin%20U.S.%20Senate%20Election%20Results,Barnes%20%2D%20The%20New%20York%20Times\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">26,700 votes<\/a>, or about 1 percent margin of the over 2.6 million cast.<\/p>\n<p>The news outlet \u200c <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/politics\/2023\/07\/31\/democrats-black-voters-2024-election-biden\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reported<\/a> that Democrats \u200care \u200dworried, given Biden\u2019s narrow \u20632020 wins over\u2063 then-President \u2063Donald Trump in swing states\u200c like Georgia, Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/trump-says-can-win-arizona-quickly-closes-gap-biden\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Arizona<\/a> could be \u200dadded\u2062 to that \u200clist, where Biden scored his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/interactive\/2020\/11\/03\/us\/elections\/results-arizona.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">narrowest victory<\/a> over Trump by just 0.3 percent, or 10,457 votes.<\/p>\n<p>Blacks make up just <a href=\"https:\/\/www.census.gov\/quickfacts\/fact\/table\/AZ\/PST045222\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">5.5\u2064 percent<\/a> of\u2063 the state\u2019s population, but Hispanics are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.census.gov\/quickfacts\/fact\/table\/AZ\/PST045222\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">32.5 percent<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Both groups\u2019 support for Biden has dropped off \u2063significantly since he took office, <a href=\"https:\/\/fivethirtyeight.com\/features\/biden-approval-black-hispanic-voters\/#:~:text=The%20same%20poll%20found%20that,to%20say%20they%20would%20be%20%E2%80%9C\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">FiveThirtyEight<\/a> reported. It is down over 10 percent\u200c among \u200cAfrican Americans and approximately 20 percent among Hispanics.<\/p>\n<p>Political consultant Karl Rove \u2014\u2064 \u201cthe architect\u201d of Republican \u2062George W. Bush victories in\u200b the \u200d2000 \u200band 2004 elections\u2062 \u2014\u2063 broke down the numbers further, \u200ddetailing what the lower black turnout could\u200b mean\u200c for \u2063Democrats in\u2062 next year\u2019s general election.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Democrats have been \u2063talking \u2063about this for months and \u2063for good reason,\u201d Rove \u200btold Fox News on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>Biden carried \u20629-in-10 of black \u200bvoters in 2020, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/election-2020-joe-biden-race-and-ethnicity-virus-outbreak-georgia-7a843bbce00713cfde6c3fdbc2e31eb7\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Associated Press<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Statista <a href=\"https:\/\/www.statista.com\/statistics\/1184425\/presidential-election-exit-polls-share-votes-ethnicity-us\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">exit polling<\/a> put \u2063the number slightly lower with Biden taking 87 \u2063percent of the demographic to \u200dTrump\u2019s 13 percent, \u2062which is a \u200dtick up from 2016 when he carried just\u200b <a href=\"https:\/\/ropercenter.cornell.edu\/how-groups-voted-2016\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">8 percent<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Watch the latest video \u2063at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\">foxnews.com<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Rove first pointed to \u2063 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/georgia-dem-switches-parties-absolutely-savages-radical-lawless-democratic-party\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Georgia<\/a>, saying a 1\u2063 percent drop in the black turnout\u2062 in\u2063 that state would wipe\u2062 about Biden\u2019s 11,779-vote margin \u200dof victory over Trump in 2020.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd we\u2019re talking about a \u200c10 percent \u2062drop between the midterm to\u200d midterm, so that\u200d could be\u200b really problematic\u201d for\u2063 Biden, Rove said.<\/p>\n<p>A 10 percent drop in the black vote in\u2063 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/pennsylvania-county-recount-2020-election-votes-president-2023\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Pennsylvania<\/a> would take Biden\u2019s 81,000 vote \u2062victory to 46,000.
