I do, though, believe we\u2064 need to enact reforms so that Americans have the right\u200b to remove cases from Washington, D.C., to \u2063their\u2063 home \u200cdistricts. Washington, D.C., is a \u2018swamp\u2019\u2062 and it\u2062 is unfair to\u200d have to stand trial before\u200d a jury \u200dthat is reflective of the \u2063swamp mentality. \u2062One of the reasons our country is in decline is the politicization \u2062of the rule of\u2064 law.\u200c No more excuses\u2014I will end the weaponization of the federal government.\u201d<\/li>\n<li><strong>Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC):<\/strong> \u201cI remain concerned about the \u200cweaponization of Biden\u2019s DOJ and its immense power \u200cused against political opponents. What we see\u200c today\u2062 are two different tracks \u200dof\u200c justice. One for \u200cpolitical\u200b opponents and another for the son of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/media-say-bidens-female-led-comms-is-a-first-trump-has-that-now\/\" title=\"Media Say Biden's Female-Led Comms Is A First. Trump Has That Now\">current president<\/a>.\u200b We\u2019re watching Biden\u2019s DOJ continue to hunt Republicans,\u2064 while\u2063 protecting \u200dDemocrats.\u201d<\/li>\n<li><strong>Former Vice President Mike Pence:<\/strong> \u2063\u201cToday\u2019s indictment serves as an important reminder: anyone who puts himself \u200cover the\u2063 Constitution\u200d should never be \u200dPresident of the\u2063 United \u2063States.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<blockquote>\n<p>I will have more\u2062 to\u200b say about the government\u2019s\u2062 case after reviewing the indictment.\u200b The\u200d former president is entitled to the \u2062presumption \u2064of \u2062innocence but\u2064 with this indictment, his candidacy means more\u200c talk about January 6th\u200c and more distractions.\u2063 As Americans, his candidacy means less attention paid\u2063 to Joe\u2063 Biden\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/top-republicans-respond-to-latest-trump-indictment\/\" title=\"GOP Leaders React to Trump's Latest Indictment\">disastrous\u2063 economic policies afflicting millions<\/a> across the United States \u200cand to \u2063the pattern of corruption with Hunter. Our country is more important than one man. Our Constitution is\u2064 more important than any one \u200cman\u2019s career. On January 6th, \u2063Former President Trump \u200ddemanded that I choose\u2063 between him and the Constitution. I\u200c chose the Constitution\u2062 and I\u200b always will. As your president, I\u2063 will not yield an inch in defending \u2062America, our people, or our values,\u2062 and\u200d I promise you: I will do\u2063 so in\u2062 a way consistent with my oath to the \u2063Constitution\u2063 and the\u200c character\u200b and decency of the American people. We will restore a threshold of integrity and \u200ccivility in public life\u200c so we\u200b can bring \u200creal solutions to the \u200dchallenges plaguing our nation.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Former\u2062 South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley\u2063 did not immediately release a \u200bstatement.
