toxic workplace.\">dance team captain<\/a>, Shirlene Quigley, as defendants.<\/p>\n<p>The three dancers, Arianna Davis, Crystal \u2064Williams,\u2062 and Noelle Rodriguez, allege that Lizzo pressured them to engage with nude performers at an Amsterdam club in February of 2023.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Lizzo\u200d forced dancers to \u2018eat bananas\u2019 from sex\u2064 workers\u2019 vaginas during Amsterdam trip: bombshell lawsuit <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/i7cAwDeCPz\">https:\/\/t.co\/i7cAwDeCPz<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/z0an9AKkJI\">pic.twitter.com\/z0an9AKkJI<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 New York Post (@nypost) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/nypost\/status\/1686433402038136832?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">August 1, 2023<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>According to the filing, Lizzo allegedly led a chant \u200cpressuring Davis to touch the breasts of one of \u2064the nude performers,\u200d despite Davis expressing her desire not to. \u200cThe dancers \u200dfelt \u2063that Lizzo showed \u2062little regard \u2064for\u200d their bodily autonomy and the well-being of those around her.<\/p>\n<p>Another part \u200bof the lawsuit states that Lizzo invited cast members to \u200binteract with \u2063the nude performers and objects launched from their vaginas, as reported by <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2023\/08\/01\/lizzo-sued-by-dancers-for-allegedly-forcing-them-to-watch-sex-shows\/?_ga=2.131360847.1760837938.1690663866-1931908156.1667952896&#038;_gl=1*om2s9d*_ga*MTkzMTkwODE1Ni4xNjY3OTUyODk2*_ga_0DZ7LHF5PZ*MTY5MDkxNTMwNy45NjIuMS4xNjkwOTE1Njk3LjAuMC4w\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Page Six<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The lawsuit also alleges that a member of Lizzo&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/white-house-refuses-to-denounce-antifa-despite-group-continuing-to-wreak-havoc-across-u-s\/\" title=\"White House refuses to denounce Antifa despite group continuing to wreak havoc across U.S.\">security team<\/a> was pressured to get on stage and told to &#8220;take it off.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Davis also claimed that she\u2064 was subjected\u200d to an &#8220;excruciating&#8221; \u206212-hour rehearsal and, fearing the repercussions of excusing herself to go to the \u2064restroom, had no choice but to &#8220;soil herself&#8221; on stage.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, \u200dthe lawsuit accuses dance team captain Shirlene Quigley of pushing her Christian beliefs onto the dancers and oversharing her masturbatory habits and sex \u2063life with her husband.<\/p>\n<p>Davis and Williams began performing with\u200d Lizzo in 2021 but were fired in April and May, respectively. Rodriguez, who was hired in 2021, left earlier this year.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The stunning \u2064nature of how Lizzo and her\u200d management team treated their performers seems to go against everything Lizzo stands for publicly, while privately she weight-shames her\u2063 dancers and demeans them in ways that are absolutely demoralizing,&#8221; said the plaintiffs&#8217; attorney, Ron\u2064 Zambrano, in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/news\/us-news\/lizzo-dancers-weight-shamed-pressured-touch-nude-performer-lawsuit-rcna95161\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">statement<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Following the lawsuit, Lizzo&#8217;s \u200cformer \u200bcreative director Quinn Whitney Wilson and \u200bdancer Courtney Hollinquest showed support for the dancers \u200bon <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/cquestt\/?hl=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">social media<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I&#8217;m not\u2063 a part\u2063 of the \u200dlawsuit &#8211; but this\u2064 was very much my experience in my time there&#8230; I very much applaud the\u200d dancers&#8217; courage to bring this \u2064to light,&#8221; wrote Hollinquest.<\/p>\n<p>Wilson shared the dancers&#8217; screenshot and expressed the need \u200bfor space to understand their own \u2063feelings about the situation.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/onelink.to\/dwapp\">CLICK HERE\u2063 TO GET THE\u200d DAILY WIRE APP<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Three former backup dancers for Lizzo have filed a lawsuit accusing the singer and her production company of sexual harassment and fostering a toxic work environment.
